I hope I'm wrong but I don't know of any A90 that made 500 whp on 93. Ethanol is a step change in power for these motors. If ethanol is a constraint, then 420-440ish whp is as high as you'll ever get. Again, really hope someone comes in to prove me wrong.
If 130 and 500 whp on 93 is an...
I spoke with Driftmotion at length a couple times about their turbos. They are better known in the Mk4 community than Mk5. Very, very generally speaking, their stage 3 seems broadly comparable to a Pure700. I don't think anyone here is running a Driftmotion unit. Everyone goes for Pure but...
You could also see if a shop will install a resonator to cut down on noise. May be challenging to find anyone that can work with titanium but may be preferable to just selling the whole system
"Everyday" and "track" use will be very different use cases. H&R is ok for everyday use. Fairly similar ride to stock but it handles some harder bumps poorly. I sold them in favor of HKS, which I like a lot more. More compliant on the street and I have the ride height where I want it. Both...
On paper it looks like it will be very quick. Very different design philosophy compared to the Z: Ford went for performance whereas Nissan went for comfort and budget. But I guess given the volumes the Mustang sells, there is more opportunity for Ford to do more niche track-focused models like...
It's universal 3" stainless steel piping. I don't have any pictures of the underside, sorry. On YouTube there is a shop called (I think) Godzilla Raceworks that has some videos of their single exit systems and it's pretty similar to what I have. But it is not hard for any muffler shop to do...
Verus has a list of compatible exhaust systems somewhere on your site if you search for it. It may be in the diffuser installation instructions themselves. @zrk is probably right though. IIRC correctly there is a little bit of adjustability for the diffuser, but not enough to fit something...
It’ll work. I did it for a bit before moving to wider tires. Front will look fine but rear will look a fair bit stretched. Won’t look as crazy as others here will claim. No big adverse effect on handling. You can always check the recommended rim width by looking up the tire specs online.
Took off the H&R springs in favor of HKS Hipermax adjustables. The front settled too low for my liking with the H&R. So far, so good with HKS: I like my revised ride height and it seems a bit more compliant but it’s early days.
FWIW I have a custom single-exit Ti/SS system that uses an HKS Carbon-Ti muffler. It's mated to a catted AA downpipe. I love the sound overall. It is like a JZ or RB sound but distinct. There is a bit of boom/drone but I have taken road trips in comfort. It is rowdy at startup because of...
Anyone know how long a shop should take to install HKS Hipermax adjustable springs? A shop told me it was a full day, 8-hour job on account of the springs being adjustable. I was thinking more like ~3-4 hours like a normal set of springs. Thanks
