I wonder if these updates are something someone working with a custom tuner would want to consider mentioning to their tuner... For instance, I'm currently working with Sameh on a custom tune.. wonder if whatever they did with the vanos is something he should be aware of to pull in.. or if...
I have been cruising around with my HKS intake and the top OFF for a month now just for more noises.. today I was driving around and took at look at my IAT's using BM3 ...
Outside temp - 93 (Florida)
Avg IAT - cruising at ~50mph 115
I went home, quickly installed the top of the intake and...
Exactly! And don't forget they also state you need to upgrade the lpfp too before using their hpfp..
Feel like I'd rather just get an upgraded manifold / cooler with integrated port for the $$ .. wash the valves while we're at it
If one were so inclined to want to know more about how that system works.. got any Google search terms that might pull back the right results? Inquisitive mind
I made 410wtq stock, factory downpipe on 93.... 100% agree with you that with p800 turbo you should be way higher than that on 93.
I made 530wtq with AA catted dp and E50 ots tune (bm3)
I thought wastegates only dumped exhaust gas into the exhaust.. what a bov would be releasing would be the pressurized air going towards the throttle body... When the throttle closes there would be the pressurized air in the intake tube that would then need to bleed off, hence the bov .. but if...
Since we don't have a BOV what is actually occurring that makes the similar sound when we let off? Is it compressor surge? If it is, isn't that bad for turbos?
Thanks @razorlab -- what I'm ultimately looking for is that list above with brief descriptions for each, expected value ranges, definitions etc.
Example ---
WGDC - Wastegate duty cycle is referring to the wastegate solenoid (pressure converter) duty cycle, which switches on and off very fast...
Hello,
Does anyone know if there is glossary of sorts for each of the channels that we are able to log? I would like to become self reliant on reading my own logs and determining issues etc.. There are so many channels we can log and besides the ones that are obvious, there are quite a few...
I'm kind of hoping it didn't do much because I'm too afraid to cut my hood ?
On a real note, how do you determine where to place it on the hood? I would almost think we'd want that mounted further back towards the hot side of the turbo?
Random question, which location(s) behind the bumper...
