@freeform911 Good to hear you got it fixed! Did you go in with the wiper arms removed?
I usually have Safelite do my windshield so prep the car before they come..
Lotus is cool, but for me not many places service it so would be too much of a hassle when things happen. And it will. So I'd go for a Cayman or 911 if going for another sports car besides Supra.
I only drive street and honestly 4 banger turbos are more fun to drive for me as I can wring it...
Thanks for not being a typical GTI dingaling who cries about intakes and starts preaching why intakes are a waste of money. Folks like us do it cause we like it and we can. That is all that matters as long as performance doesn't degrade.. then it's a problem like running ugly boat anchors on...
I too went from stock to JB4 to intake rather quickly so not sure how much the intake itself improved the performance, but I can tell you that my car is night and day faster vs stock with this set up.
I wonder if the 2021 has a slightly different fitment vs the 2020 which mine is. But glad to hear you found the issue. Hope you get to fire her up later today!
Beautifully done! Man.. if I had the courage to re-remove the SRS I'd do it.. it was such a PITA for me as I've never had to remove one off a BMW in the past.. I did manage to finish the 3D Design paddles with success though, but it's one of those things I don't want to ever touch again...
This sounds like me reviewing to my wife all the completed honey-do list items with emphasis on working all frikken day long and sweating my ballz off just for her. The list has like 2 items..
Is your interior black? I was thinking about that seat CF piece a while back, but on black seats it's going to make the entire seat look like one piece, as in too dark.. (?) I left the silver on mine for some contrast.
@Blindspot I got that cubby too. While subtle on mine since my interior is black, on your car the piece brings out a very nice contrast with the red. I think it's well done including your other pieces.
Why would you do that? I didn’t have to cuss at my car or my intake.. but did cuss at myself when I dropped the screw for the MAF or whatever that thing is.. and lost it somewhere down under.. huh Australia.
No problem. I recommend you jack up the car when you place these under the tires as they can slip when you go on them, plus can be a little tricky to know the right amount of throttle to apply.. it's not everyday you go up a ramp simultaneously on all 4 corners..
Driving off them is no problem.
