I'm actually a fan of it besides the weight. If it were 200-300lb's lighter, I'd likely hold out for one instead of getting a 3.0 Premium.... perhaps I’ll snag one when the LCI comes along.

It does not; you'll still retain the throttle mapping changes and burble vs burblier tune though regardless of the presence of valving. SP is coming out with a dual exit sometime this winter; they have yet to decide on if that will be valved.

I'm definitely in for a forged 18 x 10.5 pre-order, either VS-5RS or EC-7R, if that ever happens. Completely understand that having a third option may be a difficult proposition to make to the powers that be at Apex. However, I do think the 10.5 fitment would be quite popular for this platform...
