well yes their current line up is full of heavy luxury cars. but i would think maybe Toyota could use the joint platform to maybe introduces a: 1. a Z3/Z4, SLK, TT and etc competitor. 2. a AMG GT/SL, 911, 6 series fighter?

this is debatable, but some view MKI-MKII as a higher trim Celica. the MK1-MKIII were cheaper cars. i dont think the Supra will ever see those kinda of numbers again. right now Toyota can barely sell 20,000 units of the FRS.
