Did my first oil change this morning followed by a nice relaxing (and spirited at times) drive in my Supra. Had a great time. Cleaned her up afterwards and plugged her back in.
I found out today that with iOS14.4.2, I no longer have wireless CarPlay. bummer..
Those wheels look good. Are those more concave on the rears?
Looking forward to full car shots when you get a chance.
For me, adjusted tire PSI (from hibernation psi) and took the engine cover off to take a quick peek at the oil filter location. Going to do the first oil change tomorrow...
I'll probably do mine next weekend as insurance will turn on first of April. I bought the car last year, but only drove 1200miles before hibernation so decided to wait to do the change until now.
I have spacers on my car so I thought it would be a non issue..(?). 9/10 times I pop the rear tire from front tire kick up so I think it should clear the calipers. If I pop the front I will try it with the spacers, if not run the rear wheel temporarily on the front and place the spare on the...
I thought folks in Japan were even less interested in sports cars than us in the USA. I don't remember talking to anyone from Japan recently that were into cars besides ones reading up on magazines and gossiping like a useless trend hopper.
Yep, I have one in my garage at all times. I can ask my son or wife to bring it out to me when needed.. or a buddy since I can open the garage remotely with my iPhone given I have cellular signal. It's quite nice. Hope I never have to use it.
I remember on some cars when I turn the HVAC off, engine (or a mix of ambient) heat comes through the vents. It was considered normal on those cars, perhaps it is normal on the Supra.
I run JB4 on my 2020, but also run climate control at all times so have never felt any heat come through...
There is a "your speed' radar speed sign/display near my area and the Supra's speed is exactly the speed that was displayed on the unit. I've driven past there in my other cars and all of them were exactly the speed displayed, so it appears my Supra's speedo is as accurate as my other cars.
You'll be surprised how quickly things can loose control on slick surface.. and on public roads there's really no telling what the condition is around the corner so best to leave the nannies on. Even on my AWD cars unless I am launching the car it is aways ON.
It's your (or your GF's) car. If she thinks the car is worth the price, I'd recommend you just buy it. It is true that there is a major shortage of semi-conductors and resins in the auto industry that is shutting down factories world wide so it can be a very long wait.
