I use Griots Speed Shine, but you can use any off the shelf quick detailer and a detailing microfiber towel to remove bugs. If you get a polymer based QD, you can even use it in the sun.
Since taking ownership I have not hose washed my car.. only QD and waterless wash when needed. Same with...
I like simple so I just hooked up a Battery Tender Jr in Sept last year and will be pulling her out of hibernation come April. I plug the battery tender to the charge posts under the hood. I do this on my other 2 cars in hibernation as well. No issue. You can keep the doors locked or...
My dealer called me and said that they can do my Supra's oil change for only $44 so I should bring her in this weekend.
No way Jose.
..Actually, I think she said her name was Betty.
Haha, that would definitely suck. I only drive my Supra on occasion so it's kind of an event to prepare for (with check list) the night before. Otherwise I usually take my STI or Golf-R on my weekend drives. I'm a MT driver anyways.
I prefer my garage queen not to have dangling cords I can visibly see. Mine goes under the car to the back on a rail I made to keep it off the floor. Then through a tunnel. Cant tell she's plugged in.
I really like that 3D Design rear wing lip.. but I already installed a Rexspeed one on mine last year and not sure if I can cleanly remove it without damaging the paint or the entire trunk pulling off the hinges..
I love mine. No regrets from me. And mine''s just a regular Premium model, not a Launch Edition or A91 or anything special, but she's special to me.
I do plan on getting a 2nd Supra though in a few years when maybe a refresh model comes out.
No problem, I'm not known to be smart at all. My wife thinks I'm a 5 year old. I zip tied a large washer to the charger cable connector and use a telescoping magnetic tool to fish it up into the engine bay. I have another pole with velcro on the end and attach that to the cable connector...
I have mine wired from under the car so I can latch the hood, but I like looking at my engine bay from time to time so keep it unlatched in the winter. The car appears to go to sleep regardless of locked or unlocked.
Actually those bars do wonders for turn-in. I was actually pleasantly surprised how well the car handled after installing the bars on my car. It should've came on the 2020 out of the gate regardless of how ugly they are.. imho.
Those bars looks like cheap Schwin bike parts for sure. A nice job on the powder coating to hide it a bit. I have the anodized black BMS bars on my 2020.
I too agree on the DWS06. They are on my WRX which is my winter car. No issue getting through snow.. but it is AWD. I don't drive my Supra in the winter.
I should mention that I have multiple hydraulic jacks so I raise the car either front or rear enough to place the Rennstand + other hydraulic on the same side. I don't drive up anything like ramps.. that would be too much work. I also own GoJak's so use that as well to lift the car off the...
