  1. My dad said that he read on Facebook that in Japan, Toyota is giving Supra owners free upgrades apparently?

Post up the link and we can translate it together.. (note: I don't Facebook so don't really look).
  2. Reflectors

I would get some vinyl or tint to cover them up and remove them for inspection. You can make a template very easily using some painter's tape. That said, my Supra is black and never really bothered me..
  3. Supra Floor Mats

Looks like someone dropped a sticker on the floor?
  4. Coming to a stop in manual mode?

5mph is when my car downshifts on its own to 1st gear, so that is the speed I am watching whether I want to let the car do it on its own, or whether I need to be in 1st (to possibly light-punch out of traffic, etc) and manually downshift.
  5. Battery disconnect/reconnect concerns

I disconnected the battery when I did the 3D Design paddles (removed the airbag). No issue. I've been using a Battery Tender Jr on all my cars for decades. No fuss, no issue.. and compatible with AGM and lead including deep cycle.
  6. What did you do to your Supra today?

My wife got me these 3 Kyosho models.. I love them. My actual car is black like the color sample in the back.
  7. Question: Charging the Battery

My cars are currently on Flatstoppers too. Good stuff.
  8. Question: Charging the Battery

I too just run a $25 Battery Tender Jr which automatically sets itself to AGM or lead or whatever the battery type that I am charging. I like to leave simple things to just plain simple. I'm too old to be reading tiny instructions manuals for this.
  9. Holding the downshift paddle/lever while braking hard.

If you're prepping the car for a sharp turn after a long straight, I can see someone using the feature while braking hard, as it's really no different than downshifting in sequence while braking hard to prepare for the turn unless you're trying to maximize engine braking while approaching the turn.
  10. Holding the downshift paddle/lever while braking hard.

Learned something new reading this thread.. since I only drive in manual mode 100% of the time (I'm an avid manual driver), I'm always driving 2-3 sec ahead of where I am and downshift earlier to prepare the car for the punch or turn if needed. I also drive the car around the RPM I drive my MT...
  11. Painting my strut tower braces - help me pick a color

Black looks best. Mine is a 2020 and have the black anodized BMS braces.
  12. Keeping stuff from flying in the trunk?

My car came with a factory (?) cargo organizer so bought some L shaped cargo organizer corners (click for link) with vecro's that bite into the trunk carpet to keep the organizer in place. I removed the "Supra" logo'ed cargo liner as vecro does not stick well to it. I take some fast corners...
  13. Every New Supra comes with One Year NASA Membership

I did. But never plan to use it.
  14. Deer - 1 vs. Supra - 0

Glad to see you got your car back mangcool. Hope you get that replacement headlight soon. As others mentioned, it looks good even though it might have a break somewhere (I can't tell from the picture)
  15. Rank your Top 5 Mods

    1. Bimmercode 2. Wheel spacers 3. Escort Max360c with Blend mount 4. Eventuri intake & engine cover 5. Maxton Designs front splitter Other parts listed in my signature.
  16. Opinion of Current 2.0 and 3.0 Owners

max - I would have considered the 2.0L if that came in manual. But in my case it would be in addition to my 3.0L.
  17. Golden Wrench Supply Anodized Aluminum Caps

Agreed. The 3 reds are consistent in color and matte-ness so that is nice (vs mixing brands), but the level of detail you mentioned is where I'm at as well. Hope they do a revision. But it looks great the way it is in totality.
  18. Golden Wrench Supply Anodized Aluminum Caps

uh oh.. I knew I shouldn't have opened this thread..!
