  1. OEM a91 stripes?

I work with vinyl all the time and it's not difficult to free-hand cut the corners round. Honestly I'd either buy the pre-cut ones or just buy a roll of 3M 2080 and make one from scratch if I can find a small-ish matte roll. If you completely don't trust yourself, you can get a hole puncher...
  2. A91 Edition Owners - Do you regret the missing HUD?

What the heck. It's not a bare bone Miata, these cars should all come with both modern technology and sportiness on the top/special trims. There is a difference between choosing not to use a feature, and not having it. I hope the future special trims come with everything because at the rate...
  3. Key Fob Cover Options

It's a little bit too much for me, but I am an older guy so maybe that has something to do with it too. I just want something simple with a GR logo preferably in CF that replaces the entire housing.
  4. A91 Edition Owners - Do you regret the missing HUD?

One of my favorite features on a modern sports car.. why would they remove it on a special edition. I don't get it either.
  5. Replacing 1 tire with PS4S

Sucks, sorry to see. While driving normally you probably won't notice a difference, but high torque situation and wet/cold roads you most-likely will especially it is on the driving tire. I would just get a new rear tire since your car is brand new. One suggestion is (if you already know...
  6. A90 Supra Wheels!!

If I am not mistaken the factory wheels are 25lbs each.. 24 (F) and 25 (R) In contrast the Nismo wheels I had on my 370Z long time ago were like 22lbs each 19x10.5 rears. Not sure where the weight savings are.. but thanks.
  7. A90 Supra Wheels!!

I did not watch the video, perhaps you mentioned it in there, what are the weight and offsets?
  8. Purchased canadian 3.0 version saturday with delivery monday. Battery replace! Code!

Maybe not $25, but at $35 there's more than 10 in stock here. One can probably send a $30 shipped offer and they will probably accept it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Deltran-Battery-Tender-Jr-12V-750ma-Maintainer-Charger-NEW/293580909180?epid=1411813777&hash=item445ac92a7c:g:vUAAAOSwGcpfJBTT
  9. Is carjacking still a thing?

Luckily for us, I don't think most carjackers are interested in sports cars, especially not new ones. They want pickup trucks/SUV, older Honda's and Toyota's for parts. That said, if someone pointed a gun at me wanting my Supra, they can have it. I'll just buy another one.
  10. Purchased canadian 3.0 version saturday with delivery monday. Battery replace! Code!

For storage you won't even need 1 AMP. My Battery Tender Jr is 0.75A and it's been working fine on my cars for the last 20+ years with only 2 that went bad after 10+ years use. I currently run 4 of them in my garage including one on my Supra. Going fancy is your choice, but not necessary.
  11. CF engine cover, radiator cover and ECU cover

I am pretty sure Teashea was referring to the entire CF stack including the resin layer. Consumers usually do not buy just the fiber layer.
  12. CF engine cover, radiator cover and ECU cover

I have CF under the hood on my Supra and other cars and they have not discolored at all.
  13. Paint Issues/ PPF Delamination

Honestly a repaint on a bumper will not devalue a car all that much if any unless some Supra fanatic was looking specifically for factory-only-painted car as a collector's car. I'm sure there are MANY people driving new cars that they think are using all factory paint, but with transportation...
  14. Paint Issues/ PPF Delamination

While clearbra has a strong adhesive backing, it is not strong enough to lift factory paint nor properly done aftermarket paint especially while the installation is fresh. As with wet vinyl installs, clearbra reaches 100% adhesive strength only after it has fully dried (usually takes at...
  15. Paint Issues/ PPF Delamination

I think it has something more to do with the paint adhesion issue with that red bumper's production lot. Paint is baked and cured and I believe they do the same for plastic parts too at the suppliers.
  16. Purchased canadian 3.0 version saturday with delivery monday. Battery replace! Code!

I use a Battery Tender JR that goes for $25 at Amazon. It's AGM compatible and been using it since the day I brought my Supra home. No issue, no fuss, I'm a simple guy. Congrats on your new car, OP! Excellent color choice too.
  17. Jacking / Lifting Points

I use RennStands by Safe Jack plus their BMW adapter. No need for tricky lifting points. I'm an older guy and don't like making a simple job complicated. https://safejacks.com/products/the-rennstand-by-safe-jack-single-unit
  18. New Supra Exhaust $1,399

It's probably just me, but when I see 'super high quality' at $1399, I tend to think the opposite.
  19. IND | 3D Design A90 Supra Carbon Paddle Set DIY

I think most people (including me) get confused on which tool to use and the orientation because of the de-bossed slot on the side of the steering wheel where you tear through the skin to access the springs. As IND mentioned, if one turns the regular head screw driver perpendicular to that...
  20. Carbon fiber shift paddles installed

When I make custom overlays I wrap the part with blue painter's tape to make the template. It's really not difficult to do. If it is, then it will also be a challenge to wrap the piece so I'd watch out for that.
