I don't have nearly as many pieces (nor do I plan to add much more CF), but my CF on my Supra is north of $3500. It's okay though, my car is a garage queen and enjoy just having her around even if I only drive her no more than 1200-1300 miles a year. I consider her a 1:1 scale model.
Yes, I agree. Point of that post was to explain the reason for the price delta is because it will not be in the same class as the 3.0L Supra. Folks appeared to me that they are thinking $30K is going to buy them a poorman's Supra (ie the 3.0L version).
Anyway, I posted enough about this and...
I agree. And the 300ps version will be no comparison to the 3.0L Supra no matter how hard they try, is my guess. Considering I was a 370Z owner back in the day, along with G35C and other Nissan/Infiniti I've owned and driven as rental cars, I know what Nissan is like. My expectation is low.
Congrats!
You know, I made peace with the factory audio system. It sounds pretty good if you tune the EQ and just not turn it up so loud. I also turned off the fake engine tone via Bimmercode.
Enjoy your new car.
I honestly have never cared on my cars. The only concern I have is oil consumption on new engines and how it slows (or not) as more miles are driven. Issue with the electronic dip stick is I can't tell the minute differences in oil levels as the indicator is not really precise. You only...
So if you were Japanese, then people would ask you why you didn't get the better car, aka pricier Supra.
They have a funny culture where things don't sell well, if it's a specialty item, they will increase the price instead of lowering it which drives up more interest for status.
So not sure...
I would definitely not especially if the car already has 40K miles as posted by the OP. Even if new I still prefer the Supra for its shape and size, interior is real nice too.
I've not noticed bump steer of any concern while driving my Supra on the streets. If there was any bump steer I felt, then it was no more than light tramlining.
Interesting. So JPY6M for the 400ps version which is similar to our Supra would put someone at $57.4K as of today. That sounds about right.
If one's going to buy a Z to compare to a Supra, should go for the top of the line or Nismo anyway.
My assumption is it will be closer to the 2.0L Supra price $40K range.
Q50RS is a $60K+ car.. it starts at around $55K, but with popular add-ons, they're price more like $65K.
I would not be able to print it as I just made it using scissors and a razor blade.. It's the one for the hip level mounted near the floor between the passenger seat and door.
Yes, definitely go through your credit card institution. GL with the refund. I had to deal with this kind of issue with another vendor for another product for another hobby of mine, but it was a huge waste of my time.
I run dedicated car for winter.. a 2019 WRX Limited.
It's very risky to drive even on all season tires in the snow with RWD. I would not use anything less than Blizzaks (in narrow widths) for snow driving if I was forced to drive my Supra in the snow. It will look like crap and make owning...
