I don’t know for certain but the material itself costs over $115 so I assume $200-250 but you get a free swirl inducing scrub wash and grease marks along with burning oil smell for about a week.
Just an update since I was in my car lounge today and remembered to check. It is:
“ BMW Longlife-17FE+”
550049327
83 21 2 461 988
Whatever these things mean.
Looks like an easy install. Instead of cutting a slot for the 2 j-clips I would probably just drill 2 holes and slide them in.. unless I'm missing something.
The factory ones just pull/pop off? No need to remove inner door panel to access anything?
Also do you have better pictures with them on of the whole car, preferably black or dark colors. I too agree it looks weird when that piece is black on lighter colors as it looks like a big check mark.
I have their matte finish one and the passenger side fitment is less than desired. CF itself is clean. I don’t use that side since I don’t usually have passengers anyway.
Wrapped mine gloss black (3M 2080) and have just the fin left matte CF. Looks fantastic.
That is not normal. Some rippling in the weave can be considered normal on long curved pieces like on a spoiler, but the clear coat should be fairly flat with no dimples nor runs.
You can try wet sanding the runs off using 1500 and higher grit. Then polish at the end. GL.
I am a MT guy myself and continue to be and I bought the Supra more for its shape to decorate my garage. I hated DSG (VW) and all other planetary AT and CVT's, but for some reason I like the ZF. Also with the combination of the exciting exhaust note from my 2020, and just being a special 2...
I just use Map1 because my car goes (to me) ballistic at WOT and cannot put all that power down on the pavement.
No hiccups, super smooth as it can be.
I test fitted my new carcovers.com indoor satin black cover (perfect and looks great, easy to stow away in its carrying case). Very happy. They have become my new car cover folks.
Since my car is officially hibernating for winter, I began working on the rest of the paint correction for dealer...
Yeah, this is the most stupid recall I've seen.. it appears to be a glare issue for oncoming traffic if the horizontal aim was touched inadvertently.
I thought I read in the service manual that if you make adjustments, you have to verify and make necessary adjustments on the other dial as...
This is kind of weird because the service manual has both slotted covers. Plus got to be blind not seeing the L - R embossed into the plastic trim on the car.
I didn't even have my reading glasses on and could see one is for L-R one for Up-Down.
I don't drive my Supra at night so I really do not care to fix this as I hate taking my cars to the dealers, but is there a way to check the plugs on my own?
Do I have to remove the headlights from the car to verify this..? which means I need to remove the front bumper? Which means time to...
65sohc - I'm sure you already know this, but if not, if you started your cars in the ash, you should probably replace your air filters (intake and maybe cabin filter as well).
