This is like waking up facing east or west or south or north or up or down(?).. I don't think it really matters just as long as you are able to move. I don't always choke my snow blower on cold starts. Cold as in -10F.
I only drive my Supra on weekend early-ish mornings and on surface streets only. I also avoid construction areas and areas prone to commercial trucks.
ie: I only drive my car up and down my driveway.
jk
Just FYI, the mounting tape that came with my Rexspeed was thin like those 3M name plate repair mounting tape. Not sure if it matters, but after install there is no visible tape from the nooks.
Double sided tape requires initial pressure to adhere properly. If it hasn't adhered within the first day, chances are it never will. You need to park your car near a wall and get some spring tension curtain rods or something to keep pressure on it over night. Yes it will look stupid while...
MAX360c is what I use. I use to be a V1 fanatic until a few years ago. It's been great, customizable, wireless firmware updates, learns false alarms, etc etc. I don't see myself ever going back to eating just peatnut butter cookies when there are other flavors out there.
I've never heard of anyone opening their car hoods after a spirited drive on the streets. I QD the hood first when I get home from a drive before the panel gets too hot for my sprays. That's about it.
Both true. I do like the glossy finish.. however easy to clear coat dry carbon. I won't be replacing mine at this point but if no one has issues with water getting inside the hood long term, might consider the mesh one on my Supra #2 down the road..
Thanks, man. Huh, maybe I should've taken my stock one off before placing the CF overlay on, huh..? Not that mine looks out of place like a PepBoys $9.99 Friday special fender vent or something..
Not fair, yours look better. Does the stock piece just pull off? aka did you push it out from the back? My car is black so would've been an easy swap..
