Waterless is basically QD with super lubricity. Spray, let it soak a few seconds, then wipe.. preferably in one direction top to bottom. Bugs will require a little scrubbing but if you are careful and use a clean area of your towel, no swirls or hazing. Just use common sense.
When I did the 3D Design paddles, the biggest issue was the airbag retainer springs. Although I've done many Japanese car steering wheel swaps I've not done this type before so it took me a while to figure out how to release the spring. Once I figured that they are all the same. Not to...
I wash them using Chemical Guys MF detergent, and dryer in low heat. Then for the detailing towels, I run those cathair rollers to pickup any grit or lint or bug legs stuck on the towel.
I've had my Supra since last April. My other cars in the same garage have not been washed using a hose for years either. They are spotless inside out top and under because that is how I like to keep my cars while in my play room. A fake Roomba thing sweeps the entire garage floor weekly as I...
If you buy synthetic based products they can sustain being exposed to heat and cold much better. My Griots SpeedShine is carnauba based, but the only time I move my entire cart into the mud room is in the winter. It's been fine for me the last few decades so I think ok..(?) I saw that they...
I only drive my Supra on dry weekend days so I have not actually used a hose to wash my car, only QD (quick detailer spray). When driven over puddles I use waterless wash from Griots.
As for the wheels I clean them after every 2 drives with QD. If iSweep ever releases brake pads for our...
I'm just a weekend detailer for my own cars. Yes, I use shoe boxes for clean towels as I like them sealed before use. The red baskets on the bottom shelf is where my dirty towels go before it is dumped into a larger laundry basket in my mud room for MF towels.
I did not fill the filter canister as I did not want to make a mess in the engine bay. It is bad enough you can’t cleanly remove the filter without a drip in the engine bay. My WRX, Golf-R, not even one drip when I remove their filters from the engine bay.
Or just a HarborFreight light weight racing jack would do just fine for stock height.
Depending on availability of the fender, the shop might just have a PDR guy bend it back..
