In normal the suspension is fine for daily driving. In my '21 at least. The suspension on the '20 is tuned differently.
Sound can be adjusted as well by going into normal or sport mode. And there's always aftermarket options. Wind noise is no issue, until you open both windows all the way, just...
Not sure. Even though the official capacity is 6.9 quarts, I put in 7. I bought a 5 quart and 2 single quarts and put it all in and after a short drive did the measuring and it was at Max.
Nothing yet.
Agreed. The pandemic has set everything back at least a year. Maybe a paint color, and a special edition 2.0 with some 3.0 performance parts thrown at it, and that'll be that I reckon.
Yeah exactly. I did my first one at 900 miles. Filled with Pennzoil. I had mine sampled. Was ok. But it had only 900 miles on it. I have a track day in July, after which I'll change again and have it sampled.
Did it sit at the dealership long before you bought it? Battery might have gone dead there and it needs to be replaced.
How did you attach the charger?
I would much rather have a tach on a HUD. Or shift lights. At least that'll help on track where it benefits keeping your eyes on the road. A HUD in day to day traffic is useless and nothing more than the aforementioned gimmick.
Yeah, me too. Same thing was a huge issue with Subaru STI and WRX. Lots of oil issues. And most were with cars that were babied during break-in. The point is to drive it hard, but not abuse it. Doing burnouts and donuts obviously won't do an engine any good. And I have a feeling some people do...
Yup. You don't "beat" on it, but you allow the car to fully warm up, let's say 10 minutes or so of careful driving, low loads, short shifting, etc. Then on an on-ramp you give it full throttle through a few gears. Let's say 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Then on the interstate itself you cruise, going...
4 speeds vs 8 speeds. I usually start off in 2nd gear in the Supra in manual mode. When you're stopped you can manually put it in 2nd and then whenever you stop for a light it'll always go back to 2nd until you shut the car off.
