Then I suggest leaving the stock downpipe in place and get a tune if your ECU is unlockable. Your car will pass emissions and a tune will pick up some power. Especially if you have 93 octane in your area.
From the way this post comes across, you have a lot of reading to do lol.
Your ECU is most likely locked, so a tune is probably out. But since you want to avoid warranty issues, you shouldn't tune anyway. Intake and exhaust add very little, to no horsepower gains at all. It's mostly for sound...
This car doesn't "need" anything so I'm not doing much. Got the AWE Resonated Touring catback for some better sound and for the black tips, window tint, and the OEM spoiler. This is the first car I've owned I actually like the OEM wheels on, so I won't even change those.
Yup, some are like that. They'll say the stiffer ride damaged something, or the install did, or something to that nature. Suspension geometry is out of line, whichever. So they likely already flagged your car, so even if you took it somewhere else, you'll still get the bill.
Buy a battery...
If their trips are 300 miles long each, sure. Lol. BMW says 1 liter (quart) per 1500 miles. And engines tend to consume more during break-in.
I haven't had any issues either but my car hasn't done that many miles yet.
And here I thought we were just having a regular conversation and you turn out to be another overreacting princess lol.
If it had no power at all, it wouldn't move, at all. But since it did, it did have (some) power.
I'm glad I don't work for the NHTSA either. I can only roll my eyes so many...
