You shouldn't let a car warm up idling regardless. You need to start, take a few seconds to get everything done, like seatbelts, and go.
They probably bought it back because they got tired of you whining and taking it back to the dealer every half hour.
The manual does.
Yup. You want to help...
You know what, I'm not doing this again. You don't even have a Supra anymore, so there's no point in arguing.
For anyone reading and wondering why their car is hesitant to rev and accelerate after start-up, it's normal, and it's in the manual. Page 40 of the 2021 Supra manual. Nothing to worry...
Don't get your panties in a bunch. I even said in the post YOU quoted, that you had other issues.
If you agree with the 30 sec "thing" then what are you bitching about?
Trying to start more shit right after it all settled down?
Didn't you turn your car in anyway?
Nobody ever said the problems...
Yeah the other person bent a few things and they replaced pretty much everything. And nothing gets re-used even if it's good. Every nut and bolt and washer gets replaced.
Something that pushes back is stronger than something that is solid. The bar that we get in the 21's just holds it in place, where the damper is always pushing the two ends apart. Like how a shock is always pushing the wheel away from the car down onto the road. A solid strut the wheel would...
It's a similar feeling, but without all the lights on the dash etc. The engine protection has a similar function in both cases so it's only natural it feels the same. Difference is that limp mode is to be able to drive a malfunctioning car home or to a shop, whereas this is to protect the engine...
Then STFU lol. You're keeping this going. It's right there in front of you, on the page, in the manual. But you insist that it's not the case. You keep saying you're done, but you keep going. I'll say it a third time.... be happy your car is working as it should.
Ah, you mean the problem that isn't a problem? That one? Some might consider that misinformation :dunno:
They all fit my solution. The manual says depending on engine condition after start-up. Which is what happened to everyone in this thread. So tell me again how I'm wrong. How about you be...
Yes it will have ended by then. I felt this "issue" not too long ago. As I backed out my driveway onto the road. By the time I reached the first intersection 500 ft from my house, it was driving normal.
Page 40 (in my 2021 manual)
Jesus Christ you're thick.... How much more clarity than written in a manual do you need??? A phone call from Munich? FFS. Be happy your car works as it should.
"DEPENDING THE ENGINE CONDITION" It doesn't say cold start, that was a(n) (logical) assumption.
Read what it says. I magnified it for you.
Maybe it's to let oil or coolant circulate, who knows. Like I said, I didn't engineer it so I don't know the parameters. But obviously you do :rolleyes...
I didn't engineer the thing, so I don't know what parameters it needs to release the rev limiter, but it's right there in the manual. I don't know what else to say lol.
