You should look into the AWE Resonated Touring catback. It's not valved, but it's not crazy loud either. Most of it is regulated by being in normal or sport mode anyway. I'm like you, I want sound quality rather than quantity. And the AWE has been perfect.

Yeah I read that too. But that's not a rotary as we're used to. That's just a tiny rotary engine that runs to charge the battery as a range extender. Like a backup generator.

It all depends on what you're looking for. If all you want is the most horsepower per dollar, the Z will be a good option. The whole musclecar market is built on that notion. If you want upscale interior quality too, you'll end up with BMW/Audi/Mercedes etc. If you want even more quality than...

The Z is more of a threat to the BRZ/86 than the Supra imo.

Even though the 2020 is more twitchy than the 2021, a simple alignment could help things. A bit more toe in, drop the air pressure on the tires, but also, go lighter on the throttle at corner exit. Your foot controls how twitchy a car gets. The smoother you drive, the less it'll twitch.

Turbulence. Matte paint is too delicate. It looks fantastic, but it's better suited for cars that don't get driven much imo.
