Glad it's not just me. I've driven and owned performance cars before but just tipping into the throttle from 2800-3000 rpm I do get the feeling of 'this shouldn't be this quick'
I think Turkey proved (again) it's really not all down to the car. I like to think I know F1 strategy and I was sitting there wondering why he wouldn't pit for fresh inters. But it was possibly the most exciting race of the season. Bahrain Outer should be a treat too.
I was very, very close to getting a ZL1 1LE but couldn’t quite justify $80K all-in. Plus I was a little leery about how practical it was on a day-to-day basis, even if I wasn’t driving it every day. There was a part of me that worried I’d want to sell it after a year or two. That and when I...
Agree that the first resort should be the tuner. Absent a clear warning pre-purchase that it should not be used on post-6/20 ECUs, I think the onus is on the tuner to make this right.
Lot of people will be very interested in how this turns out. The question to me is what all the dealer would need to do to fix the ECU: is it a matter of "resetting" the bricked ECU or does the dealer need to order and install a brand-new one?
My question is whether an older iPhone is Apple CarPlay-compatible. I’m not sure what generation you have to use. CarPlay is buggy enough as is with my iPhone 11...
This feels a little bit like a solution in search of a problem. I'm sure this is a good production, but like others have said, I think a bit of rear toe-in would probably suffice.
This. You can definitely enjoy the Supra on some good back roads but should not be taking any car with more than say 300HP to its limits anywhere on the streets. Just plain irresponsible and frankly unsatisfying compared to being on a track.
North Jersey has some great back roads. LI is too...
This was my thinking too. I declined all the rustproofing and warranty add-on stuff at the point of sale. To my dealer’s credit, they did not try the hard sell on me. Maybe I looked like I wasn’t in the mood!:D
21 Premium with Driver Assist - $52,501 but that is before Virginia taxes and $895 (I think) dealer processing fee, so call it $53,400 before taxes. Picked it up last month.
Perez-Schumacher would make a lot of sense for Haas, but I think there is some merit to the rumor that Williams may drop Russell for Perez, since he brings sponsorship money with him.
