I think this is all covered by existing threads, but FWIW
I chose Active Autowerke for my 2021 3.0 Premium. I wanted a catted DP that did not cause a CEL. My original choice was actually CG Precision due to their 5" internal diameter but it was backordered and the vendor wasn't sure when it...
There's a good thread in the Wheels section on powdercoating the stock wheels. Anything works with white (except white), but I'm partial to Bronze too. To me, gunmetal, satin silver, charcoal, those all work too.
Max will win the Saturday sprint race, with Lewis and Vallteri somewhere between 2nd and 4th positions, Checo in the mix for a podium, and Lando and McLaren best of the rest. Sunday will probably look about the same. The question to me: how far behind will Mazespin finish behind Mick? 10...
I too would like an update. I ordered 19"s and would like to know when they're going to arrive. Doesn't look like they've charged my card yet so :dunno:
Direct from Maxton (maxtondesignusa.net). I ordered it Thursday and it showed up on Saturday. This is the V.3 though. I think V1 and V2 are backordered but those were too lippy for me. I wanted something more subtle.
I love the fundamental concept of the M2 CS and the fact that it exists but value-wise, I don't think I could justify owning one. As you get up near that $100K price point, I think about a different set of choices.
Technically, it’s not done yet but the mailman has been busy these past few days :D. This is H&R springs, gloss black powdercoated tips, and a Maxton V3 lip also in gloss black…
For what it's worth: generally speaking, the truck owner/operator IS responsible/liable for damage to cars from objects falling off their truck. These people are often shady and try to disclaim responsibility, but if you can prove your car was damaged by this stuff, they have to pay up.
I followed the manual: 0W-20. I used Mobil 1. I don't really buy into the anecdotal "my cousin's brother's best friend knows cars and said to use 5W-30". My car is used on spirited back roads, the track, and occasional errands.
Thanks for this. Love reading about this build and your experience.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
I bet you've already considered this, but what about more front camber? Have you found a good pressure and operating temp for your tires (more so for the front than the rear)? I can't recall...
Been watching F1 since I was 10 years old and I still don't fully understand when you have to leave room and when you're entitled to the whole track. I thought having former racers participate in the penalty decision-making was supposed to cut down on this silliness. :dunno: Lando-Checo...
So I double checked my paperwork and mine spec'ed at $56680, and my OTD price, including fees/charges, was $53600. So higher than what I said before but still about $3K off MSRP. I think the internet price does not include a dealer processing charge of $500 and a freight charge of $995, so...
