I went with Jerry’s, which is a bit outside Baltimore. I paid, I think, $3-4K under MSRP for my 3.0 Premium but this was at the height of the pandemic last year. It was a good experience—they didn’t do too much of the dealer hard sell BS and didn’t push the profit-padding addons like extended...
I was in the same boat and I also have an Absolute Zero. I took a long look at powder coating my wheels bronze before deciding to go aftemarket. I was going to do bronze chrome as well.
If you go on Prismatic Powder’s website, they have A TON of pictures of their colors. I’ll dig up the...
Yea, I'm with you. I think Max and Lewis are the class of the field (though there are 3-4 others who are themselves a cut above the rest). I respect and admire both of them in a genuine way. I think they are both generational talents in terms of raw talent, car setup, and racecraft. I think...
Am I right that there is a Sport+ setting for transmission and engine mapping but there is NOT a Sport+ setting for either damping or steering? I ask because I am pretty sure that BMW G20/G29 have Sport+ settings for all four of these...
I just want to know what dum-dum at Toyota thought people would prefer two-tone half-polished wheels or wouldn't think people would at least want the option of silver/grey or black wheels on the 3.0/3.0 Premium?:dunno: It's so silly that they think Supra buyers want $1000 mirror end caps but not...
No. The W12 is slower in all respects to the RB16B this year. Pretty much doesn't matter what Lewis does, as the Red Bull is still 0.2-0.4 faster per lap, all over the course, on all tires. With focus effectively shifted to 2022 (as it should be), both drivers' and constructors' championships...
F1 Supercar 3 or 3R might work, but 3R has the same or greater wet weather limitations than Cup2 and higher degradation (like underdonk said). I actually think Cup2 is okay in the wet if you are careful. If you like being really stressed out in the rain, then get the Cup2.
Either is better...
I've not experienced that but suggest checking alignment. There is a surprising amount of variation from car to car from the factory.
Other than that, you probably need more data points before making setup changes to the car.
I'd wager it's the dealer. Wondering whether they forgot to start the paperwork at all. I had a similar issue with my dealer. I went something like 6 weeks with no plates on account of "delays with the DMV" but when I called the manager, the plates magically showed up a few days later. I am...
Kudos to MP for figuring this out. Maybe there is an angle I am missing here, but if they have figured out the unlock process, and they are worried about the freerider problem, then Mission could sell the unlock information directly to other tuners for whatever is a fair price. :dunno: Still...
@Rocksandblues
You should probably caveat that you have been to the track a time or two lol ?
I'm at 3K miles, mostly spirited country road driving, and don't think these will be worn until 12K miles or so. I am pretty easy on the tires though.
Hi Tom, does it still look like a late June ship date for these wheels? Mine are being shipped to my tuner and want to give them a heads up and set up an install appointment if these are on the way. Thanks!
I'll go with Williams. I'll also try to open the door to a side discussion of what was the greatest F1 car of all time. I go back and forth between the FW14B and the MP4/4...
