Just use whatever brand and pad fits your budget and your objectives. If you're cooking the stock pads, grab something that performs in the higher temp range. The Hawk DTC line has been around forever and are bullet proof but dust like crazy -- typically high initial bite, a little less on...

Ahhh, gotcha. Yeah ECR was a few weekends ago, NASA won’t be back to CoTA until next year - around May typically. They’ll be at MSRH, MSRC and ECR prior to that though if you want to use it.

Simple answer: I wanted nocturnal but with the alcantara seats (and the other cf bits). The blue is amazing but already have an almost identical blue car in the garage, not to mention this will be my daily so the less flashy the better. I'm the odd one out, I know.

It's establishing a transfer layer on the rotors. With non-race pads this will occur with basic normal use of the car - but you may notice a slight reduction in force and bite for the first few applications while this layer is established on the rotor.

Unpopular opinion here but curious, who plans on removing the vinyl stripes? I’m one of the few that did this solely for the seats and (well, not anymore) cf duck bill, was never sold on the vinyl.
