It comes down to value. The price someone pays for something is a direct relation to how much they value that thing/service/experience. None are right nor wrong, just different. I never understand why people try to make others feel bad about “how much” they paid for something, or “how cheap”...

It works, just even if you have it at the brightest setting it’s still pretty dim. Never had a reason to try but wouldn’t be surprised if it would also disappear if you tilt your head one way or the other. For example if you drive with a tall mohawk.
