So long as you haven’t smeared it a good piece of tape could be all you need. Typically the adhesive on the badge you just removed is good enough.

That GTR was about as brand new as the Z.

Try heating the glass up before cleaning it. If you can restore the circumstances that produced the spots you may be able to remove them.

From what I’ve seen this just appears to be standard quality for them.
