Rosberg wasn't afraid to get his elbows dirty. Bottas says he isn't, but proves the opposite by rolling over every chance he gets. Rosberg knew he didn't quite have Hamilton's skill, so he tried every other way to stay ahead. Bottas is just like...... ok. And accepts it.
It most certainly is all down to the car. Bottas being a mediocre driver sitting in 2nd place proves it. Lewis is a great driver, no doubt about it, but he hasn't had any real competition since Rosberg left. And he was his only competition because the other cars are too slow.
As far as Turkey...
I didn't say you were lol. I was just talking about people in general. You know there's plenty that rev the crap out of a cold engine.
The car is new, the ECU is learning all the time. Fuel trims, idle parameters, etc. Start the car, let it idle for 30 seconds if it's a cold start, then move...
It's a BMW cold start protection. They don't want you (edit: "people") revving like a dumbass right after you start it. So the engine protects itself. It's normal. Once it's warm, you can rev happily. Again, it's normal.
Only thing I can think of is you changed the gearing on the car by going with a 285 instead of a 275. Your tire has a larger circumference now effectively giving you longer gears (sidewall height is 35% of tread width). But, having said that, going just one size up shouldn't make THAT much of a...
I'm fully expecting the 86 to look more aggressive, just like the FR-S/86 did last gen than it's BRZ sister.
Just because a Toyota person penned it, doesn't mean Subaru executives didn't say what they want. Toyota probably made 30 different versions, and Subaru picked the ones they liked.
I like the seats.... and that's it.
Honestly this design fits the 400z better than the actual 400z does imo.
The BRZ is a low cost RWD sportscar for young people to get in to, and in true Subaru fashion, they made it look boring for production.
If there was progress it would be shared/posted everywhere as there's hundreds of owners waiting to spend money on a tune. Just keep looking on here and Facebook etc. It'll pop up eventually.
