  1. Supra vs 86 Compared and Contrasted in TFL Review

I’ve driven plenty of BRZ’s and other small sport compacts and the Supra is like those great handling under powered momentum cars except it has real power. That was my conclusion after taking my Supra for a quick spin after break in. I was quite amazed how well the car handled.
  2. 2021 Toyota Supra Reviews Compilation

It's good that 2021 buyers get the improvements, but I am one of the 4100 folks that own the 2020. I have the Burger front braces, JB4/Eventuri, and the suspension is perfectly fine for the driving I do on the streets... It puzzles me how the 2021 'hurts' me. These journalists are silly. At...
  3. Oil Change Walk-Through with Pics

Natek - Fumoto valve's open/close lever is on a 90 degree angle that sticks out pretty far; and how the drain hole is recessed inside the lip (the red circle I drew above) I don't think the Fumoto will even fit on the car. I mean it's only $25 so I can give it a shot and toss it in my parts bin...
  4. Oil Change Walk-Through with Pics

Nice. Yeah, I'd be very interested in a controlled flow plug. I've done many oil changes on many different cars so it's not that I can't do it, I'm an older guy and like to use tools that make my life easier.. no drips and splashes are accepted in my car lounge.
  5. Oil Change Walk-Through with Pics

I guess they do... but this red area is recessed, correct? Then the valve will not fit. Need to take Fumoto's compatibility matrix with a grain of salt as it only looks at the thread diameter and pitch. I've had an issue on my other car (Ford Fiesta ST) where they said it fits, but did not...
  6. Oil Change Walk-Through with Pics

OP - Thanks for the DIY. Does anyone know whether Fumoto offers a valve for the Supra? My WRX has a vertically mounted plug as well and it can become pretty messy when removing the plug. Since the Supra does not have a dipstick I cannot extract the oil from the top.. therefore, I'd...
  7. Supra Floor Mats

All my cars run WeatherTechs, but the thing I do not like is that it partially hides the dead pedal. Since I got a matching dead pedal cover on my Supra I'm still looking at getting berber mats down the road.
  8. Realign gas cap????

I just let mine like yours. At least it's red and looks cool. I also got the oil filler cap too from Goldenwrench.
  9. HKS intake....?

Do these come with heat shields? Usually these hot air intakes net next to zero (or show losses) vs stock, but they can sound good. I bought a fully enclosed unit honestly for decoration even though people claim increases especially with a tune (or JB4 in my case).
  10. Oil for supra????

Honestly it really never bothered me which one it is .. it's synthetic motor oil BMW sells for its street cars. That's plenty for me. My other cars and small engines usually just run OTS Mobil1 silver cap synthetics, and Liqui Moly on my Golf-R.
  11. Oil for supra????

Not sure what that is but it was ECS. I bought the kit plus one bottle to keep in the trunk. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-assembled-by-ecs-parts/build-your-own-oil-service-oil-change-kit/f3xosk~dk/?pdk=BAEBAQM
  12. Oil for supra????

I want those oil cans for decoration.. !! I bought BMW oil along with the filter. It was a kit sold at (I think it was) Turner.
  13. Manual on the Supra 2.0

I believe Nissan is delaying the launch of the 400Z by at least one year, from a recent read. Considering how financially struck Nissan is, I would not be surprised if they cancelled the program all together. The car would have looked fine in 2014 when it should have been replacing the 370Z...
  14. Driving Mode Poll: Which mode do you guys drive your Supras the most? Normal or Sport?

I drive 99.9% of the time in Sport mode with manual shifting. As for jerky shifts, I found that the ZF likes to shift up at 2100-2200rpm for smooth 1-2 shifts, around 3000rpm for 2-3, (other gears are smooth at wider RPM range), and down shifts I gently blip (more like a gentle tap) the...
  15. What did you do to your Supra today?

Nice job. Do you have silencers still installed on the HKS?
  16. Another one bites the dust

Horrible! Hope you get the car totalled and get a new one soon.
  17. What did you do to your Supra today?

Thanks, and l’ll check that out too!
  18. What did you do to your Supra today?

Finally got the red cap covers. Very pleased with the results.
  19. Toyota A90 Supra Display Models

That's cool. I like European tools too, most of my ratchets are Facom (although my torque wrenches are all SnapOn as it is easier to get them re-caliberated locally), hand drivers are mainly Wera and Wiha. Other stuff are a mix of local brands.

If any of you have a 1:18 garage and into Beta tools.. https://www.amazon.com/TSM13AC25-Beta-Kit-de-herramientas/dp/B00LLFQGDI/ref=sr_1_20?crid=2R6U8UC58QSNV&dchild=1&keywords=beta+tools&qid=1597846395&sprefix=beta,aps,180&sr=8-20 I only own a mobile roller cart from them. Beta had more...
