Mine was very stubborn to remove too. And after all the work swapping to the red button I was like 'I spent all this energy (and risking people hearing repeated profanity in various accents and languages) for this?'
I even thought the YouTube video was a joke to laugh at dumb suckers like me...
I run newer model Chamberlaine's on my garage and while it will store the code for an extended amount of time, HomeLink tends to lose it randomly so I either bring the factory garage door opener, or use my iWatch. I don't use HomeLink any more these days although most of my cars have them.
^ That button looks better than the red one I installed.. Where did you get it?
I used a clay-like adhesive snot looking thing to pull out my button. After I pulled it off, I kept it in a jar for next time..
Miata's are fun cars to drive in small space, but for me they are just too wimpy slow where I take my cars out for a weekend drive. This is also true for the 86/BRZ.
Tint shops can usually remove tint with very little mess (steamer), but during installation they use very liberal amounts of slip solution which is kind of a turn off..
My tint guy is very good at his craft and I've never had electrical problems on any of my cars he's done, but each time I...
I usually have my tint guy do all my cars with Pinnacle but on the Supra, I decided not to do it. I passed on clear bra as well.
Mainly because my Supra is a garage queen so 100% of the time the car is parked indoors, only driven a few times a month, and I like to see the interior while I...
I hope Nissan does not use DAS on their Z's steering system. That is one crappy steering system where a lot of Q50 fans dismissed the car entirely due to odd steering behavior and poor feedback. Plus I don't know how many times my buddy had to take his older Q50 and Q50RS back for recalls and...
The new Z already sounds compromised.. Hope they do not rush the production and ending up with QC problems. Not sure if a company like that can come up with a worthy sports car.
Port/dealer repairs sold as new with no history is fairly common on new cars.
This is why I never trust the dealer and check the car with my own eyes prior to delivery. If it was a daily driver, however, I would not be so picky.
I received the packet in the mail about a month or so ago but did not nor plan to sign up. I do not care to track my garage queen.. but I did appreciate the invite when I received it, and the free stickers.
That Z's rear reminds me of a Mustang for some reason..
I am not emotionally moved by the exterior design as I once was with my old 370Z I had a decade ago (it was a 2009 bought new). I will most likely pass the 400Z unless their Nismo version has a more exciting look. The face lifted regular...
Loves:
- exterior design (garage queen)
- sound of factory exhaust
- acceleration (still in break-in; JB4 installed, but not fully tried their maps)
- interior material quality
- factory wheel and tires (nice design, good tires)
Dislikes:
- dim center stack LCD (adjusted with...
