  1. Emblem Change (cracking)

Back in the 1930's I see.. No I do not "remember" the times.. old but not THAT old.. I think it looks original.
  2. Best way to remove Start Engine button?

Mine was very stubborn to remove too. And after all the work swapping to the red button I was like 'I spent all this energy (and risking people hearing repeated profanity in various accents and languages) for this?' I even thought the YouTube video was a joke to laugh at dumb suckers like me...
  3. Supra garage door opener

I run newer model Chamberlaine's on my garage and while it will store the code for an extended amount of time, HomeLink tends to lose it randomly so I either bring the factory garage door opener, or use my iWatch. I don't use HomeLink any more these days although most of my cars have them.
  4. What Parts do we want developed for Supra??

Hummm.. I will need to check the service manual once again if it really is just removing the splash guard to access the horn. Thanks.
  5. Best way to remove Start Engine button?

^ Thanks, cntrvslbrs! I will check them out.
  6. What Parts do we want developed for Supra??

I'd like to have a super easy kit to swap (or add a low-tone horn) without removing the front bumper as I don't want to mess with the sensors.
  7. Best way to remove Start Engine button?

^ That button looks better than the red one I installed.. Where did you get it? I used a clay-like adhesive snot looking thing to pull out my button. After I pulled it off, I kept it in a jar for next time..
  8. Porsche Cayman vs Toyota GR Supra vs Mercedes-Benz A45 S: here's our winner!

It puzzles me why people even consider 'practicality' on a sports car. Most of us own multiple cars including SUV's.
  9. The 2021 News Really Bums Me Out / Buyer's Remorse

Yes, totally with you on your comments.
  10. The 2021 News Really Bums Me Out / Buyer's Remorse

Miata's are fun cars to drive in small space, but for me they are just too wimpy slow where I take my cars out for a weekend drive. This is also true for the 86/BRZ.
  11. Tint or No Tint

Tint shops can usually remove tint with very little mess (steamer), but during installation they use very liberal amounts of slip solution which is kind of a turn off.. My tint guy is very good at his craft and I've never had electrical problems on any of my cars he's done, but each time I...
  12. Tint or No Tint

I usually have my tint guy do all my cars with Pinnacle but on the Supra, I decided not to do it. I passed on clear bra as well. Mainly because my Supra is a garage queen so 100% of the time the car is parked indoors, only driven a few times a month, and I like to see the interior while I...
  13. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

I hope Nissan does not use DAS on their Z's steering system. That is one crappy steering system where a lot of Q50 fans dismissed the car entirely due to odd steering behavior and poor feedback. Plus I don't know how many times my buddy had to take his older Q50 and Q50RS back for recalls and...
  14. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

The new Z already sounds compromised.. Hope they do not rush the production and ending up with QC problems. Not sure if a company like that can come up with a worthy sports car.
  15. Vehicle was resprayed without me knowing

Port/dealer repairs sold as new with no history is fairly common on new cars. This is why I never trust the dealer and check the car with my own eyes prior to delivery. If it was a daily driver, however, I would not be so picky.
  16. Every New Supra comes with One Year NASA Membership

I received the packet in the mail about a month or so ago but did not nor plan to sign up. I do not care to track my garage queen.. but I did appreciate the invite when I received it, and the free stickers.
  17. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

That Z's rear reminds me of a Mustang for some reason.. I am not emotionally moved by the exterior design as I once was with my old 370Z I had a decade ago (it was a 2009 bought new). I will most likely pass the 400Z unless their Nismo version has a more exciting look. The face lifted regular...
  18. 5 things you love and hate about the car

Loves: - exterior design (garage queen) - sound of factory exhaust - acceleration (still in break-in; JB4 installed, but not fully tried their maps) - interior material quality - factory wheel and tires (nice design, good tires) Dislikes: - dim center stack LCD (adjusted with...
  19. New NHTSA recall

Thanks for the heads-up, OP. I checked my VIN just now, no unrepaired recalls with my car so this is good.
  20. Toyota Supra and BMW Z4 Sales Figures

Did Porsche temporarily stop deliveries this year into the USA (middle of model year change)? I haven't seen any new Caymans listed in my area.
