This is the 3D Design one.
Removing the air bag can be a challenge if one has not done these spring latching type before, but once removed it is very easy to do. Comes with Japanese instructions, but has useful illustrations on how to transfer the switch internals over to the new paddles.
I too run the GMG Motorsports front plate holder. It's a perfect fitment imho.
I would prefer not to run a front plate, but I've been pulled over many times when I was younger and too much of a hassle these days.
I had to think quite a bit before doing mine as the red accent V3 looks so good on black. I decided to do the V2 as OP, but left it gloss finish. I really like how it turned out.
I have the ModernSpare donut set with the tools, jack, and bag. I think it was about $500 delivered, I can't remember exactly but it's a nice convenient package.
During my initial inspection, I found that the jack's platform (box shaped) does not fit entirely into the Supra's jack point as it...
I updated Escort's redlight camera firmware on my MAX360c via WiFi.
I realized I don't know my Supra's WiFI password.. Decided to power the detector via my bench 12V power supply and updated profile using my garage's WiFi. It'll basically connect to the garage WiFi from this point forward...
I installed these new paddles today. I did not realize how thick and high quality these were until I placed one in my hand. Impressed. Perfect addition for my garage queen.
I read another thread about not connecting the tender directly to the battery so scratch my idea. I wish there was a safe way to plug the car in from under the car without needing to open the hood each time.
As for unplugging and plugging the battery, I think if you do it in one shot on a...
Has anyone found a good way to wire the battery tender from under the trunk? I don't drive my Supra all that much and have been routing the cord from under the engine bay into the charge posts in the front using alligator clips. This way I can keep the hood closed completely and enjoy the...
Before becoming a member, I saw some of you folks were doing these cool Chinese dead pedal covers so I bought one too. On mine, I trimmed the bottom left corner (wire cutter and some knife action) to match the contour of the floor and it fit perfectly.
I have a pair of 3D Design paddles I...
Hi, I am new. Not to bore you with my background, I am (a guy) just a car enthusiast and weekend bolt-on/detailing hobbist. I enjoy driving fun cars on the streets, not a track guy nor do any competitive driving or car shows.
I have a decent sized finished garage where I keep my cars in...
This is not much of a choice.. I am a MT driver so MT is preferred, but the ZF8AT is nothing like the DSG on VW's and Audi's I have tried. The ZF8AT is actually smart and predictable so on a fast car like the Supra, auto is okay.
So for me the choice would be: MT preferred, but not required...
I get asked sometimes why I did not even look at the C8 before my Supra purchase. I bought my Supra mostly as a decoration for my garage as she has beautiful artistic lines. C8 is too angular for my taste visually. I am sure they are superb track warriors. I never track my cars so my...
I wrapped mine (matte version) partially with glossy black vinyl to make it less visible and not clash with the factory glossy CF mirror covers. On my car only the diffuser flap that protrudes outward is matte carbon fiber and only using the driver side as the passenger side fitment was...
Not today, but I bought my new 2020 Premium, installed Eventuri intake, engine cover, wheel spacers, JB4, CF rear lip spoiler extension, and Maxton Design front splitter the other week.
How are you guys doing? Yeah, I am new and often times puzzled..
