Did a little screengrab, I think this is both cars. The box is over the important bits, but the curves look very similar. You see the tiny delay in the torque curve so that makes me think it's both.

Agreed 100% now we know it's under identical conditions.

The torque comes at peak 200 RPM later, but stays there 500 RPM longer. That curve hasn't changed much. Just shifted a fraction.

Peak torque is only 200 RPM later. Won't notice that. Just watched Joe Raiti's driving review and he said it was immediate response.

Not true. Friend of mine at a dealership has 3 '21 on the way and has 6 '20 on the lot.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't think they compare at all. The only thing they have in common is rear wheel drive. The 86 is a cheaply made entry level "sports" car, if it even still falls under that category by today's standards, with a very cheap interior. The 2.0 Supra is 95% of a 3.0 and...

Speedo is off on just about every car. 163 indicated could very well be 155 true speed.
