BMW's sell a lot better than Supra's. Raising the price (too much) will only hurt sales even more. Besides, it's not getting anything different that brings production cost up. It's not like they dropped an M4 engine in it. I don't see the price changing much. If at all.
They didn't fit over my STI Brembos without a small spacer. So if the Supra calipers are similar in size, I'd say no. The spoke design got in the way. See if a local BMW/VW driver has them and test fit.
Went to the dealership to grease the wheels. They went down to 48.5 plus tax for any premium. Told them I'll take a 2020 premium off the lot for 45k plus tax, otherwise I'll hold out for the A91.
I messaged my dealer, told them instead of waiting for an A91 I'd drive a 2020 premium off their lot for 45k. Car sales are down 80%. Just waiting on Toyota to match VW and Subaru rates.
The next model year starts in a couple months. The C8 is sold as a 2020 and the A91 Supra a 2021. If the C8 is being sold as a 2021 that's only a few months delay rather than a whole year for the Supra if that were to become a 2022
Yeah those prices are ridiculous. We'll see where we stand financially when this is all over. I'm lucky that my wife and I both have jobs that are considered "essential" so in that regard we're ok. Just about every car and car part manufacturer is shutting down for the time being so I'm not...
The 3.0 is quicker than the 2.0 as well as faster. Quicker is acceleration, faster is top speed. 200 lbs is a 6% difference. 127 horsepower will easily offset that. The 3.0 might be 6% heavier, it's also 50% more powerful. 255+127=382.
Not to mention better brakes and suspension.
The 2.0 would...

Supra plant will be closed today until at least March 30th
I understand just fine. Toyota said in their 2021 release that the 2.0 Supra is 255hp and has a 0-60 of 5.5 seconds. That's right in line with the mk7 and mk7.5 DSG equipped GTI. So, if you want to know how quick the 2.0 Supra will be, go drive a mk7 DSG GTI, then you'll know. I don't know how...
I don't think you're understanding what I said....
The GTI is as fast as a 2.0 Supra.
If you drive the GTI, and you think it's quick enough, then you'll be happy with a 2.0 Supra, if you think it's too slow, then you'd obviously want the 3.0.
Just a way to see how quick the 2.0 Supra is...
