And yet you bought one, so mission accomplished.
Imagine a 911 GT3 owner walking into Porsche because the newly released GT3 got more power, asking for "an update"... he'd be laughed at!
You bought a product, you were fine with the product, now a better product is coming, and you're having a...
We all knew this was coming. It's been said time and time again that the Supra will get upgrades every year. The '20 is not "too soft" and it's not "underpowered". It's just not as powerful and stiff as the 2021. It's also been known that the upgrades aren't available for '20 owners. So making a...
AFAIK the production line is still making the 2020. So until the 2021 are being made, I doubt you'll see many hands on drives. The few that are made, are probably all test mules to test the new engine and suspension. My guess is the A91 that was shown is just a 2020 painted Refraction Blue.
They recommend it for EPA reasons. Thinner oil means better MPG. Not necessarily better for the engine. And as far as using a 5 weight in turbo cars, my STI runs happily on 5w-40 all year long. From well below freezing to 100+ degrees in the summer.
If you lose grip on the wheel, and the wheel plus tire hangs at the end of the "tool" you're going to rip your threads inside the hub to shreds from having the weight so far removed from the hub. Not to mention what it does to bushings etc.
And wheels damage studs???? What kind of nonsense is...
I tend to cruise where the pickup is immediate. It's a truck driver thing. We're always heavy so we always keep our truck in the powerband. I do the same with cars. My rotary cars I cruise between 4 and 6k. That's where the torque curve starts and they sound sooooo good there lol! My GTI, which...
I'm not. I'm just simply saying that if you (not you personally, but in general) buy a specific car, you need to drive it like it's meant to be driven. Economy cars can be cruised around in the basement their entire lives, no problem. But a sportscar, especially one tuned to make more power...
I never understood this. People buy a sportscar, buy go fast parts, tune it to use those parts.... and then drive it like a Camry. If you're tuning a car, then drive it accordingly. You need to drive a car where it's happy. 1k RPM in 8th gear, is not it. If the car likes to cruise at 4k RPM...
I drive semis for a living, so seeing out of the Supra was no problem for me. Just follow the proper procedure. Signal, look in the side mirror, then over your shoulder, and move if clear. With the sensors it's even easier.
