The 2.0 bargain comes in at countries that tax you on engine size. Doesn't really apply to US though. The 2.0 Supra is for people that also buy 2.0 3 series BMW. And there's plenty of those.
I just talked to my dealer. They are only adding the options I want. No med kit, no PPF, I just want the wheel locks and safety package. So the other crap won't be on there.
Alcantara is a brand. Not a material. I'm sure their stuff has various degrees of quality. I dailied my Alcantara STI for years, in high heat and snow, never had a problem. Never faded, never had lint stuck to it, nothing. Was perfect the day it came out the showroom till the day it sold :dunno:
They did drop the MSRP on the A91.
Here's the math.
A Launch Edition was $55,250. With CF mirror caps, $56,205. That's without the CF Spoiler still.
The A91 is $55,990 with both those included ;)
As far as enjoyment goes, as long as the world doesn't end, we can enjoy ours just as long.
The 2020 isn't the first model year for the engine and transmission. And that's why people say "never buy the first year" lol. I haven't heard of ANY stock 2020 Supra's blowing an engine, so I think you'll be safe. 10k is 10k. And if I wasn't deadset on that Goddamn Refraction Blue :p, I'd have...
Yeah, with all these upgrades coming year after year, and a GRMN, I've decided to lease this one instead of buying it. And see what's what in 2023 with the supposed refresh and all that. If I don't like what's happening, I can still buy out the lease at that point if it's worth it.
