My first Supra was the backup plan. Still trying for a local GT4 (or now a GT4RS) allocation.
I've pretty much already accepted I probably won't get one again. And cannot bring myself to try for an Emira. So once again, trying for a manual equipped Stratosphere or Absolute Zero 3.0 premium...
A small hood for the infotainment screen with an overhang of 1.5" at the top. The main purpose being to remove the 'tesla' tacked on screen look (that may not age well and/or is already disliked in my case.) Secondary reasoning is that the overhang should help reduce glare on the screen and/or...
Legends Toyota fucking sucks.
They keep telling me that it will auto update ia wifi when they haven't even got past the map activation code request. Another dealer offered to do it but, I don't want to have to pay for what shoukd have been done during PDI before the sale.
Nah, it's just a way of pushing the brown A91-MT's interior. It's just the same strategy they've implemented on the 86, pump a ton of basic options as 'special editions' to get people in the door.
It isn't as if they have to find red cows so something... that would make driving through the...
While I get the joke, I actually do agree with Mark's comment about riding on the car rather than in it. I don't know about the feel in comparison to the Z but, I do have heavy track experience with the BRZ/86 (modified to shit) and going from there straight into the GR Supra did feel like a bit...
6'4" 240lbs fit fine. I do think I'll be wanting an aftermarket seat that gets me further down into the car and another inch reward for the legs. That is if/when my manual car comes in, the pedal box is a bit tight on the AT as is and I can see the clutch being a bit of a pain on longer sessions...
Supra connect took maybe 20minutes to do myself, the message showing up on the car was the only pause.
However, the navigation is something I've been waiting on for over a damn year to get activated after 4 visits and over 8 hours sitting in my dealers' waiting room. Still nothing
The bolt is a M12 and the thread pitch is 1.5mm. Thread pitch is the spacing of the threads on the bolt. Going from a 1.5 to a 1.75mm thread pitch means that your increasing the distance between the spacing between the high points of the crests/ridges that screw in. In a very broad sense...
Put vicegrips on it and apply side pressure while turning it counter clockwose to remove. Once it is out you can tap the pan for an oversized drain bolt. Make sure you fill and drain a few extra quarts of oil letting it flush out the metal shavings. All before putting in the oil you intend to...
Add a 2nd washer fluid reservoir and a generic intercooler sprayer. They are relativly simple to make. A reservoir, pump, switch and a couple sprayer nozzles and washer fluid hose.
Not really the best solution compared to using meth bit a simple stanalone addition that can help.
Nah, the 1st gen 86/BRZ also had fuel starvation issues in the corners from the factory. Tons of cheap fixes, some as simple as a little fuel door flap that gets installed onto the pump that closes keeping fuel trapped by the pickup.
Pop the cap and make sure there is a seal on the it. If you have the level sensor use it until your notified of low fluid then try to take the cap off. If you get any kind of resistance or purging when you crack the lid then you know you will need to address the issue. If so, grab a screw-in...
