Plenty of Chevy dealers are offering the C8 at MSRP. The Z51 package is $5000 on the C7 and should be similar on C8. So you’re looking at $65k for base + Z51. A fully loaded one should be around $80k.

Apparently only 4200 Supras will be made per year vs 30000 C8 Corvettes. There will be a lot more allocations of C8s to go around. Some on the Corvette forum think dealers will be offering discounts below MSRP by the end of 2020.

I have a dealer in my area offering the C8 for MSRP and you can build it however you want. There are plenty of Chevy dealers offering C8s for MSRP on the Corvette forum.

@s219 I suggest you watch this entire video, especially at 9:00 where it mentions stress testing. This car is built using BMW parts but it had a lot of input by Toyota engineers.

When did I say tires were $3300 per year? The fact that you said your maintenance costs were no more than $200 per year on a 8 year old car shows that your claim is unrealistic.

You’ve never replaced tires on a 8 year old car? That is a lot more than $200. I had to replace a water pump on a 5 year old 335i and that was more than $1000 alone.
