  1. Do NOT buy a Supra right now

What does Tesla have to do with the C8 Corvette? Two completely different companies. Do you not understand the concept of custom ordering your exact specs? The C8 has tons of options compared to the Supra and any other regular Toyota. If you want a base $60k then custom order your car and it...
  2. Supra vs C8 Corvette

I wouldn’t want one that looks like this. https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1635123
  3. Supra vs C8 Corvette

Plenty of Chevy dealers are offering the C8 at MSRP. The Z51 package is $5000 on the C7 and should be similar on C8. So you’re looking at $65k for base + Z51. A fully loaded one should be around $80k.
  4. U.S. Supra Ordering: Pricing and Availability Details! Have You Ordered?

Apparently only 4200 Supras will be made per year vs 30000 C8 Corvettes. There will be a lot more allocations of C8s to go around. Some on the Corvette forum think dealers will be offering discounts below MSRP by the end of 2020.
  5. U.S. Supra Ordering: Pricing and Availability Details! Have You Ordered?

I have a dealer in my area offering the C8 for MSRP and you can build it however you want. There are plenty of Chevy dealers offering C8s for MSRP on the Corvette forum.
  6. Official C8 mid-engine Chevy Corvette thread

This just killed the Supra, M2, Cayman, anything else that’s under $100k.
  7. A90 Toyota Supra vs G29 BMW Z4 Drag Race, Rolling Race & Brake Test

@s219 I suggest you watch this entire video, especially at 9:00 where it mentions stress testing. This car is built using BMW parts but it had a lot of input by Toyota engineers.
  8. 2020 Toyota Supra is Stateside!!! + Canada

That Toyota badge looks terrible and needs to be gone.
  9. A90 Toyota Supra vs G29 BMW Z4 Drag Race, Rolling Race & Brake Test

The only one with imagination around here is you. I can't count how many times you've posted lies with no evidence to back it up. The top 3 off of my head that I can think of: 1. Claiming your 8 year old BMW maintenance cost no more than $200 per year at the dealer when I know for a fact from...
  10. A90 Toyota Supra vs G29 BMW Z4 Drag Race, Rolling Race & Brake Test

Of course the engine is all BMW but you haven’t shown anything that BMW didn’t give Toyota access to tune various components like engine, transmission, and suspension. I’ve been on Bimmerpost since 2010 and have read ynguldyn‘s posts on a regular basis. He has never said Toyota didn’t tune the...
  11. BWM M2 True Cost of Ownership: Where will the Supra differ?

So how is oil change, air filter, and brake fluid less than $200 at a BMW dealer? Your prices make no sense.
  12. BWM M2 True Cost of Ownership: Where will the Supra differ?

When did I say tires were $3300 per year? The fact that you said your maintenance costs were no more than $200 per year on a 8 year old car shows that your claim is unrealistic.
  13. BWM M2 True Cost of Ownership: Where will the Supra differ?

You’ve never replaced tires on a 8 year old car? That is a lot more than $200. I had to replace a water pump on a 5 year old 335i and that was more than $1000 alone.
  14. No ventilated seats?

    Sorry this isn't a BMW...oh wait... :hmm:
  15. Will all Toyota dealers be able to service Supra? / Serviced at BMW Dealer vs Toyota Dealer?

From what I've heard, it seems that Toyota dealers will need get additional tools and equipment to service the Supra since it's basically a BMW underneath. Are all Toyota dealers going to be required to purchase these tools and equipment? I wonder if I go to a tiny Toyota dealer in the middle of...

  17. Leasing 2021 Supra

Sounds like you don't know anything about leasing. High residuals is exactly why you would want to lease because you're paying for the depreciation of the car during the lease. High residuals would mean lower monthly payment. And if your co-woker doesn't know how long he'll need the car, then he...
