I don't think so. The GT-R was a 100k car being sold for 60k. The Supra is a 55k car being sold for 55k, and it's not exactly flying out the showroom. They raise the price, they'll just lose more customers. They upped the horsepower to stay relevant where they're at.
I understand you WANT them...
If you're on a Corolla budget but want a car like a Supra, I would get an 86/BRZ. Or a used 350z for cheap while you wait for aforementioned used Supra to start hitting the market.
I have a GTI, an STI, an RX-8, and a Honda Odyssey (for my Great Danes lol)
I didn't look at the C8, because I'm not a big Chevy fan. I did look at a Cayman because who wouldn't. They're fantastic, but like I said, if you want anything in it, it's a lot more $. And you still have that 4...
No I'm saying that for the base price of those 2 cars, you get nothing extra. A comparable equipped Cayman costs $75k, has 300 hp and 4 cylinders. Making the Supra a better value. C8 owners/buyers won't even look at a Supra. I'm just using it to demonstrate that a C8 with some equipment on it...
It's been a base Cayman rival from the get go. Maybe even a Cayman S. Problem with Porsche is, EVERYTHING is an optional extra. Might be able to buy a Cayman for the same money as a Supra, but don't expect anything in it. Like the C8 Corvette. Yeah, you can technically get one for $60k. Would...
I agree on OEM+ aesthetic. I don't mind the design, just the two tone coloring. I like them fine in all black. When I get mine later this year all I'll probably do is a conservative front lip, lowered slightly, and a black tipped catback. I'll have to look at where the wheels are sitting if I'll...
I thought the exhaust is already pretty good from my test drive(s) the other day. If I was getting a non SE first mod for me would be wheels. The chrome and black is just awful lol. The black SE wheels aren't that bad. I'd probably get a catback first on the A91 to get black tips to match the...
Warranties cannot be "voided" at all. Just claims can be denied. And no, a catback doesn't "void" anything. A downpipe however, you can get in trouble for since the cat is in there.
But warranties is not all or nothing. If you change the shocks, obviously the suspension isn't going to get a...
Yeah exactly. They aren't selling like they thought they would so I'm sure they're happy to get MSRP for them. Not all the LE sold for more than MSRP and definitely not all the regular models. There seems to be plenty of stock everywhere. I think the dealers, most of them anyway, learned their...
