My dealer just sent me this. I can buy a C8 with the Z51 package for that.

I just happen to get this email from my local Toyota dealer. A C8 Z51 would be cheaper.

Usually the Z51 package, which adds all that, is around 5k. The same price difference between a base and premium Supra. So it's about even. I'm sure the base C8 will still be plenty fast though lol.

A 335 hp 4 second front engine Supra or a 495 hp sub 3 second rear/mid engine Corvette for 5k-10k more that looks the part. Anyone buying the Supra for more than or even at MSRP is absolutely mad after this reveal.

I won't. I won't even pay MSRP. I generally don't buy the first model year of a new car. I wait a year, see what problems pop up, if any, then when the second model year orders open, I'll go to the dealer. If they have a leftover first model year car sitting there, they'll usually discount...

No such thing as a 2019 Supra. In the U.S. they're sold as a 2020 model year. And as far as I know, they won't be sold till the end of July.

Wouldn't be surprised if that's an alternative option down the line.

It's not going to be that much here in the States. Different economies. Nobody would pay that. The wheels might go for 4k. The CF trim pieces maybe for 1k to 1500 each or so. I would also expect a black FRP/plastic option of the same item.

Remember how they showed there was room for extra struts under the hood, vents could be made functional, bracing for a wing is already in place? That will probably be utilized in this version for the extra $. It won't be JUST 60 HP.
