In order to reset it at that mileage you will need to use an OBD adapter and BimmerLink. The onboard computer will not allow you to reset it unless a certain percentage of either the mileage or length of time has been reached.
By all means if you have questions please don’t hesitate to ask them here. But make sure to do a proper search for the answer beforehand. Search in the forum here, use Google, look in the manual, then if you don’t find the answer or you do find it but are still confused ask away. We most...
Unless you had very low relative humidity already inside the cabin it’s likely the condensation from the A/C. If it’s still there under the car this afternoon then be concerned.
Opinion: If you want loud and quality = AWE Track. If you want loud and quality without drone = AWE Touring. If you want loud and quality with stock valve = something else. AWE removes the valve completely, which is why I went with it. I wanted to enjoy the exhaust without having to put the car...
100% agree with side mirror adjustment. When I’m sitting at a light and can make eye contact with the driver in front of me in the side mirror I want to get out of my car and proceed to tell them just how stupid they are. It is a HUGE pet peeve of mine.
You get used to the lack of visibility compared to other vehicles. Once you get that second sense of the size and where your tires are it’s no longer a problem. For the blind spots, in a recent thread about it I had put a link to some blind spot mirrors I use. Between them and the windows I can...
I was able to eliminate a buzzy vibration by using some Gorilla tape on the black plastic around the inside of the hole that you can see in @Loco38SUP picture. It’s very loose and rattly, for lack of a better term. You can tighten the bolt by just removing the trim around the back pillar, but if...
For sake of argument I do not trust a car to tell me something is in my blind spot. I know that’s probably unreasonable given technology these days but I would rather look for myself. I got these and actually covered up the little triangle in the mirror.

Cool to hear you went with an AWE. I haven’t noticed a difference in the shifting, and 95% of the time I’m in normal mode since I HATE burbles. I feel the downshifts sound amazing in normal with the Track exhaust. And yes, moderate throttle between 1800 and 2200 RPM is very boomy regardless of...
Welcome! Completely agree with taking both for a spin if you are able to. Something to keep in mind is you will be spending the majority of your time with the car inside it. Really pay attention to which interior looks/feels better to you. Which gauge cluster looks nicer, which steering wheel...
Not anymore clearance. The “arms,” for lack of a better term, feel to be a little thicker. Maybe placebo. But it’s powder coated steel rather than flimsy stamped aluminum. Simply better material is the reason I went with it.
I believe there is one named buzzer duration and another named buzzer volume. Can’t remember which module they are in though. I know, a lot of help I am.
Changed mine to the Cusco while I was under there for the exhaust install. Not that I notice any difference, if there even is a difference, other than something looking prettier that barely anybody will ever see.
