I think this car can quite easily price itself out of oblivion. At the current msrp it is fine, but the markups push it past the point where I would consider the car.
That still doesn't make much sense. Long Beach is a good 3 hours or more from Palm Desert. I live fairly close to Palm Desert, and the only car centric thing there is the Thermal racetrack.
That's what everyone says, BMW said that about the B58. Everyone was like, "Oh the N54/55 took 5 years to crack, so the B58 is going to take 10!" It took 3 years I believe. Nissan said that, too. Basically, everyone says that but it's like challenging the aftermarket to try and crack your ECU.
Desmo is correct. B58’s only make a weird fluttering sound when you lift off. It’s kind of like turbo flutter but much quieter and softer sounding.
I HATE those seats. I specifically didn’t get them, and all the GT3’s and other GT4’s I’ve been in with those seats were slightly miserable.
They are wonderful if you are on track or really pushing the car, but they are a pain everywhere else. They are very difficult to actually get into and...
The Bimmers are built to cruise the autobahn, and the ZF’s overdrive starts at like 5th or something. This car will probably let you use cruise control far above 100 mph.
Two things. One, should look more inland or north of LA. Two, I assume not everyone on these lists is very serious and I also assume there are many people on separate lists, so don’t assume the waitlist numbers are truly so high.
Well the issue is nobody knows how cars will be distributed. It could happen where dealers are all allocated a minimum number of supras for the year or it is based on dealer volume.
