Has your vehicle had the brake booster recall done? I remember people losing some functions that required an update to the app/OBD adapter to correspond with whatever is new in the ECU. Afterwards all the functions were accessible again.

You can also change the volume and duration of the beep in case all you want to do is make it no longer pierce your eardrums in a confined space.

It’s very useful if you want to monitor the battery’s health or open the exhaust valve for an AWE install without having to heat things up.

Sorry, recognition was the wrong word. I meant that I believe it won’t “check” for an active connection after you shut the car off. I can’t remember how the option is worded exactly but I believe it’s something along those lines. It’s under whatever module mentions the acoustical lock.

BimmerCode actually has a setting where you can turn off the OBD port recognition. Thinking this would alleviate any alarms due to active connections.
