This is not correct. I believe you misunderstood A70's words. The Z was just a greater incentive but internally everything that Toyota asked from customers in order to convince them to build the manual had to have been met first. Tada-san and Toyota kept saying they would build the manual on two...
This. So much this.
I am 100% rooting for the new Z to do well. But on god, the fans on that other forum have brains that were fucked up after some radioactive activity, hence their wack-ass rabid behavior. It was so appalling and horrendously cringeworthy to see people being this emotional...
I'm pretty sure pricing should be released in the summer (i.e. more or less a month away) because there's two things to note:
- SOP of manual GR Supra in Magna Steyr will be in July.

OH! Sorry bud I couldn't tell. I was a little surprised that you asked this question in the manual transmission thread.
I haven't noticed the hostility as I only pop in every once in a while to see if there's any updates of the manual GR Supra that's all. It has become much quieter than say...
Unfortunately I don't. But that brings up a question.
Has there been anyone that has done it within these forums? All of them would have to be sent to Russia. And is anyone still taking ECU's from there given the current state of things?
Not trying to argue with you at all. Every single time there is a discussion of a manual you jut yourself in saying how there shouldn't be a manual. Nobody cares if you hope there isn't a manual. There should be options for everyone. That's what keeps an OEM on their toes.
And who the hell is...
