Highly recommend C21/C11. You might just be finding the upper limits of the CP.
CP is a great pad but also engineered to work well on the street, meaning there has got to be compromises somewhere. C21/C11 will work a lot better in a strictly track environment, at the cost of dusting and...
No you cannot. Because besides the rear rotor difference, the caliper bracket and brake pads themselves are all different. To go to the larger rear rotor you basically need the entire rotor + caliper setup from a Premium.
Hey bud, we at PhD Racing Lab actually sell the CSG C11 and CP rear brake pads in the correct Base rear caliper size. Both are great for Street and track use. Shoot me a DM and we can help you out!
Hey bud!
Just so you know, we do offer every single part we use on the race car, so yes, that even includes the custom Spage Sport aero parts. Shoot me a message and I'll send you options and pricing info!
Hi friends,
Sorry that I haven't been around to update our main post, but I definitely want to get on to that. But first, here's the recap video from our latest, and possibly greatest, adventure: racing our own Supra A90 on the Street course of Long Beach!
Through a few chargepipe mishaps and...
I've only ever had ONE single incident of oil pressure issue happen to us. It was Autobahn's fast Turn 4, with aero and grippy 200tw tires we were peaking at close to 1.9-2 G's. The car went into limp mode, shut all the power down, and we found a code that said the vanos oil pressure low. Added...
Hey man, I haven't been on the forums too often as of late but still check all the messages and such. If you (or anyone else reading) have any questions, feel free to DM me here or email me at [email protected]
From my personal experience: this B58 is FREAKING epic for track use. People...
What you guys said is all really good points and definitely makes sense.
As a sum up:
In general, reducing weight will change the weight distribution, which in turns affects handling balance. However, you can tune the vehicle's suspension to deal with a car with lighter weight but more drastic...
Some great info!
I have not tried the RT660 myself, but was told that in an autocross environment it'll be every bit just as fast as RE71R. That said, do expect worse tire wear than RE71R.
Shame that the A052 don't come in more 19 inch sizes. We're working with Nankang Motorsports on bringing...
I think on a super track-focused car, it looks amazing. It really compliments our aero kit.
No turn signals or heating or blindspot management, although this mirror is heavily convexed so you actually get to see a lot. The car will have error codes but not any warnings I don't think, don't...
On a (relatively) high-horsepower, RWD car, it is almost always a good idea to have some static toe in at the rear. Neutral toe will 100% cause more oversteer on entry AND exit, whereas a little more toe in will help with traction as well.
Just some clarifications on our thoughts:
Does the Verkline kit help with reducing bump steer? Yes, it is engineered to.
Does the Supra come from factory with bump steer? Yes, it is designed to have bump steer, this car handles with a real sense of agility and requires a driver's full attention...
IAT is, to me, the biggest limiting factor with our car at the moment as well. Personally I don't have methanol injection, but your feedback kinda proves that meth doesn't exactly help massively either.
We're working on our new intake manifold w/ much larger intercooler with AMS, I'm hoping...
Yep, I've had pretty good luck with my H6-60-RS 60Ah battery lately. The car ran fine with it.
One thing I would like to note, these cars have an interesting charging strategy so when you're driving under full load, the battery isn't charging. So if my car is sitting half the time and out on...
