  1. PNW Sightings Thread

Ah, definitely not me then. Wonder who it was venturing into my neck of the woods.
  2. PNW Sightings Thread

When was this? I live in the area but wasn't out and about today.
  3. What are y’alls thoughts on the cluster?

The Z4 gauge with its G-force meter and stuff would've been a better fit for the Supra. I haven't met any Z4 owners who would find a g-force meter relevant to their usage of the car.
  4. What did you do to your Supra today?

Antigravity batteries. You are lifting 40 pounds from very near the rear axle, so you are changing the balance of the car. Can't say you'll feel it in street driving, but maybe on the track it'll be more noticeable with a more front-heavy car.
  5. Vehicles with worst Drivers

Priuses (Prii?) and Teslas here in the PNW
  6. OEM tires for Seattle winter

I've got Continental DWS 06+ all seasons on my OEMs for winter, and a summer set on some Titan TS5s.
  7. How many Supra’s in your area?

I see more cars with NJ license plates than I see Supras here in WA.
  8. How many Supra’s in your area?

In the Seattle area. It's very seasonal -- during the summer, especially when I'm in nearby Bellevue with all the tech money, a couple a week. Now that it's cold and rainy, my Supra is basically the only one I see, especially since I tend to stay closer to my place in Queen Anne.
  9. Moving soon — questions, recommendations

If only you asked before the rainy season came into town...almost everyone here has put away their toys for the PNW winter.
  10. Best Track Times Registry

Also can't wait for Circuit of the Northwest to open here in the PNW next year.
  11. Best Track Times Registry

This course seems so fun on Forza Motorsport 7. I'd love to be able to head out there one day and drive it IRL.
  12. Moving soon — questions, recommendations

I did an Oregon trip and did end up taking some CA roads to get from Crater Lake to my hotel on the coast road. There are some brilliant mountain roads in that area.
  13. What did you do to your Supra today?

My buddy with a Range Rover pulled it out using the OEM tow hook that we put on the rear.
  14. Post 6/2020 ECU unlocked in US

SMH, quoting Forza Horizon 5 (jk lol)
  15. Moving soon — questions, recommendations

Meet in the middle in Oregon?
  16. What did you do to your Supra today?

In other news, the damage to the car is getting fixed in January. In the meantime, the malfunctioning parking sensor will be feeding me all sorts of interesting conspiracy theories in Morse code when the car is not moving.
  17. What did you do to your Supra today?

I've done a couple and nothing ever popped up on logs. That being said, I haven't been to a track day where it was over 80 degrees in WA yet.
  18. What did you do to your Supra today?

The build is being put on hold for a while. I was driving on Saturday when I gave the car gas coming out of a corner, and apparently the back left tire was over some wet leaves or tree debris and lost traction -- back end rotated and the car went off tarmac (despite TC being on). Unfortunately...
  19. 23 y/o first time sports car owner woes

If you plan on modding, don't bother. Otherwise, I think one of the Mk5 Supra FB groups recommended someone in PA or something like that (this was a while ago, I forget the specifics).
  20. BMW or Toyota

Yup, Z4 is softer from what I've heard. Also, b/c it's a convertible, there needed to be extra rigidity around the cabin to compensate the lack of the roof. People often forget that the convertible versions of cars need to behave a bit differently because of the rigidity factor.
