When I left work one day, I started up the car and instead of the expected cold start behavior, it behaved as if it was warm by doing the quick rev up to ~2500 RPM and going immediately down to ~700 RPM. The car had been sitting for 8 hours. Ambient temp was about 70 F. Never had this happen...
