Updated comparison w/ Poll
Four wheels, just as I expected.
Looks like a BMW.
At least its side vents are functional.
We have BMW working to be forward on what will be expected but nothing from Toyota.
Speaking of bmw, the engine pushing 360 to 380? For relatively 50-60k?
If Toyota gets a version with less power, I am calling foul play
It looks rather bland. Hopefully the Z4 M40i will have a little more of a punch.
So would appear production of the Supra will also begin fall 2018 with the Z4, seems to align with earlier estimates...
Typical BMW styling... snoozefest
Overall shape brings to mind the Miata NC... similar bar-of-soap form, although the doors are more sculpted.
How I feel about it in similes.
Here is how it stack ups to the Supra.
^ Except the Supra won't be coming with 21" wheels and a ground clearance shared with slammed rides and race cars....
Looks like if the Supra lost it's bottom teeth and forgot to put shorts on.
Height and wheels aside the Supra is still the more attractive out of the two. FYI that's the 4 cylinder version. The I6 prototype has been spotted with larger wheels and a lower ride height.
I have never been a huge fan of BMW's design and I am still not after seeing those pics. Maybe it will look better with some paint HAHA
Heres a color rendering done by Carscoops vs the patent image and Supra rendering.
