And I like the cool temperatures of big bottom mount. ;)
Of course lots of factors, pure800 was being out worked, i individually heat wrapped my downpipe, dump tubes and manifold on the top, and I also now have a wide open hood, so thatโ€™s obviously why

Wow! Talking about temps :eek: seems like top mount is the way to go
Pure800 is hot because of the design, pushing it too hard will produce scorching IATs. Keeping the turbo away from the manifold has been proven time and time again to produce lower spool times and lower IATs. Pure 800 is stock frame, not a bottom mount big turbo.

Pure800 is hot because of the design, pushing it too hard will produce scorching IATs. Keeping the turbo away from the manifold has been proven time and time again to produce lower spool times and lower IATs. Pure 800 is stock frame, not a bottom mount big turbo.
Still prefer my top mounts :)
