On the Dashboad is something written down in german: Unfortunately, I can't interpret the first words
but "...mit entfernen !" means "...remove with!". I suspect it has something to do with the electric handbrake. Maybe a BMW driver knows more about this message.

Anytime, if its new news or breaking news, feel free to start a new thread. I think JT prefers it that way, and we can feature it. Also, it can always be easily merged later on if needed.

Looks outstanding. Looks like the DCT stick as well? Like the detail in the car dash display. I keep hearing I should wait at least one or two model years before buying but I don’t know if I can resist.

Here's the new X7, which was just spied as well.

I'm still hoping the prototypes are just using recycled BMW garbage.

At this late in the game I would think that is more or less the production interior.

My running theory is that these interiors are BMW parts bin stuff and have been around since the early prototypes, but the actual Toyota-spec interiors are on the test cars in Japan, not Germany.

Might just be wishful thinking though. :dunno:

^ I hope you're right. But then again why would Toyota allow spy photos of this interior unless they are wanting to add more stress to the list of things people are already pushing back on only to surprise everyone when the unveil it.

Is that a DCT shifter or a straight up auto shifter? :what:

Well, spy photos aren't in Toyotas control. Photos are going to be taken regardless, and they can't just leak everything to get forum dwellers like us excited. This stuff is under wraps because it goes through dozens of iterative changes and the manufacturer doesn't need people to see all 10-15 versions as it develops.

Considering that this interior looks very similar to the spy pics from last year, I really feel like it's just prototype stuff. But again, maybe they saw that base 3-series interior and said "Gotta have it!" :p
