I would assume one year later the dealerships have figured out how to do the navigation...turns out thats a no. Does the 2021 have any specific registration needs over the 2020? My dealer cannot figure this out. I got a registration link that they generated from the UK with my email and their password, but says my VIN in "invalid."..is this supposed to be from the UK Supra Connect website?

Your dealership has to send a request to BMW for a code to unlock navigation.

Where did you buy your Supra?

What did you exactly do? I'm dealing with this.

I've already done the Map activation request and exceeded the time frame twice. My NAV still says loading and when clicked on it says, "insert USB with navigation activation code." I've been to the dealer twice and they keep telling me it will activate on it's own in a few days. It has been 2 weeks...

The first activation confirmation email said by March 20th.

I had this exact same issue when I picked my car up from the dealer. Several people there tried to tell me I didn't have Navigation (BS, I have a Premium). Basically, when our cars arrive at the dealer, they arrive in transport mode. The dealer then has to reactivate everything and sometimes they forget to activate the Navigation. In the end, I contacted the sales manager I worked with and he took care of it. They requested the codes from Toyota/BMW and several days later I brought the car in. Took them like 15 minutes to activate. Maybe try asking for a Supra Specialist at your Toyota dealership.

I'm well past that. My dealer seems to just tell me to wait for it to auto update. I've already been to the dealer and waited in their lobby for hours today and last weekend while they try to figure it out. Today they said their Supra tech said, "Everything was activated correctly and is showing that it is correct on BMW's end and that it will auto update shortly."

I'm well aware that after the activation is done that the supra needs to be connected to the diagnosis software/ISTA and the internet in which it will auto populate the code once verified. I cannot get the asses to do it though.

Today I got my car back all to see the same nav loading and insert usb with activation code message.

FWIW, https://www.toyota-tech.eu/Navigation/Supra/Hotlines doesn't have a US hotline either.

I think I'm going to call another dealership and pray they are nice.

Edit: Turns out the other Toyota dealer near me *Jay Wolfe* is even worse. The service writer gave me a number to call because they weren't Supra certified. The number to a fucking Subaru dealership.

Oh that sucks. I tried to go to a closer dealer near me to do it first, but they wanted $150 an hour and quoted me 4 hours for a 15 minute job.

Just picked up my ‘21 GR Supra 3.0 and running into the same navigation issue, is the code available to download via the ‘net that you can DIY or it does it need to be connected via a usb at a dealership?

You can't DIY, the dealer has to do it for you.
