I think the Z will definitely be the next Instagram car that ever kid and their mom will try to kit out. But hopefully it's a super dope car. I'd prefer it's a super dope car but based on what I've seen so far, it's the ZONK for me!

Maybe Nissan needs to charge more, they're in a dumpster fire when it comes to sales. I think if they F this up theyre gonna be pouring gasoline onto the dumpster fire. On one end they need to keep the price down, but that hasn't been working for them. Instead they should put solid specs all around into the Z and charge a bit more. There is also perceived value, if they come our swinging too low, it'll probably turn some buyers away, like me, who are afraid of it being a bargain bin car. I'd rather the Z fight really hard for my money than be a cheap street wh*re.
But you could be right and they keep it around the same price. Just my opinion or course.
With the exception of the Z32 the Z has always been a bargain car. MSRP and adjusted for inflation.

2009 Z34: $30,625 = $37,545
2003 Z33: $26,370 = $37,693
1990 Z32: $27,300 = $54,937
1984 Z31: $15,799 = $39,993
1978 S130: $8,878 = $35,813
1970 S30: $3,526 = $23,901

"It will come out in this form," declared Nissan's Chief Product Specialist, Hiroshi Tamura, as transcribed by Best Car. Tamura reportedly added that in keeping with the Z's affordable roots, the next Z will be sold at a "buyable price [sic]."

10k more is definitely a lot, If the performance is there though, it's not bad. Getting the Vr30ddtt is already pretty good justification for a price a 5k price bump, but hopefully there's some extra value packed into the prophesied price increase.
For me personally I'd only upgrade to a m4 comp xdrive in a few years, so my opinion is really irrelevant.

On a side tangent I can already see the Vape Bros dumping huge clouds of vapor out of their windows at traffic stops in this thing and it tilts me a little bit and I'm only in my 20s! Ha! I can see the cringe coming already!

People shouldn't decide if a price is good based solely on horsepower or 1/4 mile times. It might have 400 horsepower, but if itā€™s in a cheap, plastic, open diff, shitty brakes rattle can, itā€™s not much of a bargain anymore is it? What a lot of these bandwagon dumbasses forget, or rather choose not to address, is that the "BMW" Supra is very well equipped at any price point, and a very nice place to be in. The same can definitely NOT be said about any Z car made this Millennium. Like I said before, if the Supra was called a Z4 coupe instead, it be $70k to start, and everybody (like Chris Harris) would be raving how incredibly amazing it is.

Totally agree. Esp about all the weird haters. For me it's a manufacturer match made in heaven. Besides all these low oil problems people are having! Haha

And most of those are more bandwagon dumbasses. Most of the ones with "problems" I read about, are well within spec.

This A90 is the bandwagon car. Lol Wait until the 400z comes out. Most of the Supra owners will jump on the 400z bandwagon. Lmao

I still think the Supra looks better. This from someone who owned a 350Z and 370Z new. This isnā€™t to say the 400Z is bad either. This doesnā€™t mean we have hate one or the other.
Agree completely as someone who owned and enjoyed two 370Zs.

I am seriously tired of people talking about the A90 not having a manual especially people that has never even driven one and saying there needs to be a manual so they would buy one when they canā€™t even afford one....
The 400zx is for people that canā€™t afford a brand new GTR. Lol Itā€™s broke manā€™s GTR....

Wow, there are a lot of stupid posts all over the internet but I didn't think there can be so many coming from one person.

You sound like a very insecure person who posts anything that comes to mind and a lot of it is assuming what others can't afford. Sorry but $50k-$60k is not a lot for a sports car. If we are assuming, making payments on the car means you can't afford it either. Also, based on your logic, you can't afford an M4, GTR, etc either since they cost more.

So let's say your response is that you can afford those other cars and why you "bought" this Supra instead, ever thought that's the same reason why others would prefer another car over this Supra?

Although this is a Supra forum, this thread is about the new Z. Naturally, comparisons will be made. The Z will come with a manual and the fact that this Supra does not will be mentioned. Being "seriously tired" about other people's opinion on what this Supra is lacking or that it's a BMW makes you sound childish as well as insecure.

Go put some big boy pants on and in 3-5 years, you would have bought your Supra.
Oops, sorry. I was assuming again.
