People are starting to recommend the original slave over this HRB. Guess another case in pointthis what you get when you buy products from clutch masters. HRB blew up
Seems like poor design choices were made allowing it to extend past the appropriate range. Sad to see things like these on parts that are by no means cheap. Looking forward to your feedback on the PTB clutch.this what you get when you buy products from clutch masters. HRB blew up
In general allows for less pedal effort and shorter throw since the clutches are now stiffer to hold the added power. Although it seems that with CM all you get a fun ride on the tow truck. What would be the benefit of a HRB over a slave cylinder?
add to this, HRB not only blows itself up, it also blows your clutch master cylinder like it did to me. Now I can’t find this part here in Qatar so i ordered it from Germany today. So yeah, two weeks from now. All that cause of CM cheap products. In general allows for less pedal effort and shorter throw since the clutches are now stiffer to hold the added power. I will make a thread on PTB clutch, it’s in installing process right now and it’s waaaaay more quality than CM.Seems like poor design choices were made allowing it to extend past the appropriate range. Sad to see things like these on parts that are by no means cheap. Looking forward to your feedback on the PTB clutch.
I’m installing PTB racing now, I will give a feedback on it.I haven’t had an issue with my CM twin but in the meantime (for peace of mind) what’s a good option for the future if I run into issues gents I’m US based so I haven’t really been keeping up with the clutch options.
I was reading through the thread, keep me posted! Hopefully I won’t need to upgrade it again but I’ll follow your input. Hopefully they ship to US if worst case scenarioI’m installing PTB racing now, I will give a feedback on it.
Sure i will. CES motorsport is selling PTB clutch on their websiteI was reading through the thread, keep me posted! Hopefully I won’t need to upgrade it again but I’ll follow your input. Hopefully they ship to US if worst case scenario
I couldn’t find prices on them, were you able to?Xclutch has single disk options on their website! Spec sheet for organic single disk (see below) says torque capacity of 690 presumably in Newton*meters... This is a little over the 500 lb*ft I saw mentioned earlier.
Looking forward to some feedback on these!
