Does anyone know if the 3.0 brakes will fit on the 2.0 if you change both the caliper and rotor on the front?

I have aftermarket wheels Soo that shouldn't be a problem. I just hope they fit the hubs

With respect, won’t upgrading brakes, suspension and some power mods on these 2.0 just cost the same or more than if you just started with a 3.0?
You would likely have to do more then that. I can get a full 3.0 brake system for about 900. The price difference between the 2 is 8-10k depending on the trim.you get. The same suspension mods I did to my 2.0, I would have likely done to my 3.0. I guess if your saying you would do the power mods to the 2.0, and not to the 3.0 you may be right, but I'm willing to bet people would do the same mods. For me, the 2.0 is lighter, and better balanced. I test drove both. For the money, I liked the 2.0

Is the only difference on the rear brakes the rotor size? Ive seen this debated a couple times on Fb because online part numbers are the same, but Ive seen parts incorrectly listed like that before on other platforms. Is the caliper exactly the same? It would just be odd that the rotor is both larger in diameter and width but would still fit the same caliper and pad.

Maybe this link will further explain the 2.0 choice. I would also test both platforms before making my choice......this is by far, the best "reasonable" review of the 2.0.....the first 7 mins says it all........the dude is "preaching"......should also answer the original question of the thread.

My only gripe with the stock Brembos is they weigh an extra 30+lbs on the front end than a 2.0 front brake system therefore down the line I would rather buy a P2uned($2500) red BBK that weighs the same as a 2.0 base brakes. I refuse to add weight to my car. I already dropped 24lbs from lighter wheels so it's 3157 lbs.

Thanks for posting. Certainly a good consideration. I tend to keep things OEM if able but I will check that.
