i mean that wasn't a shot at them. Honestly i dont get why they even call it an A91 anyway when its the same chassis and body style as the A90.

Seems like things are still in flux. While I’m sure the tuners will figure it all out, I can’t see new security measures being cracked this quick unless someone has inside information.

Marshall at Visconti already announced yesterday that they are able to do them as well.

heres an update , I have a 6/20 build date , Whenever we just went to unlock the car via ecutek it was not do able. Nik over at soho is reaching out to see if I can send my ecu in to be unlocked. When in the ecutek program the car is showing a91 supra . I do not have a a91 edition so Toyota was calling these 2021 Supras a91's . I have a premium for the record .

My A91 has a build date of 7/20. I already knew it was going to be locked but then some of the DME are the older version. My DME had a date of 6/26/20 but still cant be unlocked. Not sure what the cut off date is.

thanks guys. i was just wondering for future reference. never tuned my cars before not sure if im willing to dip my toes into that just yet

Can't always do that. Let's say you break down on the side of the road and your car gets towed to the dealer, what are you going to say? Swing by my house so I can take the aftermarket downpipe off, put on the OEM one, reflash it, and then take it to the dealer?
And on top of that, most modern ECU's record everything so if they look deep enough they'll see it.
